New Yorkers won’t have to be concerned about the price of the dog in the store display starting in 2024.
On Thursday, Senate Bill S1130/Assembly Bill A4283 were both signed into law by Governor Kathy Hochul of New York. The law forbids the sale of dogs, cats, and rabbits in retail pet stores.
