An African migrant with an extensive criminal record was arrested after blocking a bus and attacking many responding officers in France, according to reports.

The incident unfolded in the town of Manosque on February 27, but details about the case are just coming to light.

On that day, a driver was pulling away from the Manosque bus station when a man rode up on a scooter and demanded to be let on, Le Dauphiné reports.

After the driver declined to allow the suspect to board, he put his scooter in the road in the path of the vehicle and refused to move.

The driver alerted authorities and arriving officers ordered the man to stop blocking the bus.

He rejected their commands and began insulting police, and when they tried to arrest him, he attacked and spit on them.

Six officers were assaulted, some of whom suffered injuries.

Eventually, the suspect was subdued with the help of pepper spray.

He was later identified as a 21-year-old Cameroonian national named Charlies Di who has been convicted in at least five prior crimes in France, resulting in a cumulative 13 months of prison time.

In court, Di remained defiant, saying of the officers, “These are the risks of the job. They disrespected me.”

“I was a few seconds late. I alerted the driver, but he didn’t want to compromise.”

Legal proceedings in the case are ongoing.

Infowars regularly documents attacks on and around public transportation in Western Europe.

A heated debate over violent crime and lawlessness tied to mass migration has been raging in France.

Military leaders have fired off multiple incendiary letters in recent years, warning the Macron government of looming “civil war” if strong measures are not taken to regain control of a society spiraling into chaos.
