An impending aid package from the US government will include several armored personnel carriers, also known as “tank-killers” by a senior military officer. The action was taken in response to rumors that Washington, despite Kyiv’s repeated demands for the Abrams main battle tank, is still refusing to take heavier armor into account.

As part of the most recent assistance, Kyiv will get an undefined number of Bradley Fighting Vehicles, as well as training and maintenance support for the armored troop carriers, according to chief Pentagon spokesman Pat Ryder, who made the announcement to reporters on Thursday.

“It is obviously an armored capability that can transport mechanized infantry into battle in support of both offensive and defensive operations, providing a level of firepower and armor that will bring advantages on the battlefield,” Ryder said, adding “It’s not a tank, but it’s a tank-killer.”

According to two unidentified sources who were quoted by Reuters and who said that further information will be released on Friday, the weaponry package will contain up to 50 Bradleys and other equipment.

When the vehicles may arrive on the front lines or how long it would take to train local soldiers to operate them, Ryder refused to say. Although Washington has sanctioned more than $21 billion in direct military aid since the crisis in Ukraine began in February of last year, due to protracted delivery timetables, it is unknown how much of the equipment has reached in the nation or is really in use.

Throughout the crisis, Kyiv has pushed for more powerful armaments, and in a recent Christmas “wish list,” senior adviser to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky expressly requested the M1 Abrams main combat tank. The Washington Post quotes an unidentified government employee as saying that US authorities continue to reject the 60-ton tank because Ukrainian forces cannot use them owing to their propensity for breakdowns and high fuel consumption.

Instead, Washington and several Western allies, like as Germany and France, have supplied lighter armor. Paris recently agreed to deploy a number of outdated AMX-10 armored combat vehicles, while Berlin announced supplies of the identical Marder vehicle in the future. Requests for heavy tanks have been rejected by all three nations.

The Bradley, which came in a variety of variations, was created in the 1980s to compete with Soviet BMP battle vehicles. It was meant to transport soldiers and offer cover. The M3 Bradley is normally handled by a three-man crew and has additional capacity for scout troops and BGM-71 TOW missiles, an anti-tank weapon, however the Pentagon did not identify the variant that will be supplied to Ukraine.

  1. People need to think outside the box!!! First, The Biden Administration is compromised by China!! Biden significantly depletes our Strategic Oil Reserves. Second, he sends $millions in US Military Equipment and Supplies to Ukraine! Third, the Biden Administration is not replenishing the Strategic Oil Reserves; nor, are they replacing the military equipment and supplies. The US Military is not Combat Ready to defend the homeland against an attack. Fourth, millions of military age men from around the world are illegally entering into our Republic from Mexico.

We are at war…China’s strategic military plan to defeat the United States include compromising our elected officials.

    Treason is the Charge!
