Russia and the West might engage in a full-fledged “major war” over Ukraine, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on Friday.
Jens Stoltenberg, the head of NATO, commented on the situation ten months after Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, stating that it is a “fateful time for Europe” and that things could “go horribly wrong” and turn from a proxy war into a direct conflict between Russia and the NATO alliance.
Stoltenberg stated in an interview with NRK: “I fear that the battle in Ukraine will spiral out of control and turn into a big war between NATO and Russia.”
The former Norwegian prime minister noted the expansion of NATO forces in Central Europe in saying that he is “certain” that such a situation could be avoided.
Stoltenberg stated, “[Vladimir Putin] understands it’s one for all, and all for one. Ukraine is not a member of the alliance, therefore it is not promised security. Preventing a full-scale conflict in Europe is NATO’s most critical responsibility, and we work on it nonstop.
In reference to potential peace talks, Stoltenberg said: “Conversations run out of steam eventually. Putin made the decision to utilize power and force. Supporting Ukraine militarily is beneficial. Only a strong Ukraine can bring about peace.
The West and Russia have been engaged in a proxy war up to this point. with the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union giving Ukraine billions in the form of cash, weapons, and other military supplies.
Both the British and the Americans have taken on the task of instructing Ukrainian soldiers in the use of the cutting-edge weapons that are being sent to Kiev.
Washington recently acknowledged that it has sent military men into Ukraine, increasing the likelihood of clashes between American and Russian forces.

Far from preventing a full scale conflict in Europe, NATO and the USA are doing everything possible to start an all out war between the USA and Russia, just as the USA, Britain and France did everything possible to start WW2 in Europe.The USA has even given itself powers to attack Russia with nuclear weapons regardless, especially if it looks like Russia is going to win against the Ukrainian terror state. In 2021 I posted a comment that 2022 was going to be a very dangerous year, 1939 was a very dangerous year that led to WW2. 2022 is far more dangerous than 1939 and just as in 1939, the lunatics in the Western democracies are controlling events today.
