“Experts” are now blaming artificial sweeteners for the rise in heart attacks and unexpected deaths that have occurred in the previous two years in nations all over the world.
According to a recent study, artificial sweeteners “should not be regarded a healthy and safe substitute to sugar” and may raise the risk of cardiovascular disease.
The research, which was written up in the British Medical Journal (BMJ), examined data on more than 100,000 French citizens.
The research reported “103,388 individuals of the web-based NutriNet-Santé cohort.”
“Repeated 24-hour dietary records, including brand names of industrial goods, were used to analyze dietary intakes and use of artificial sweeteners.”
The researchers wrote in their study’s conclusion, “The results from this large scale prospective cohort study suggest a potential direct association between higher artificial sweetener consumption and increased cardiovascular disease risk, particularly for aspartame, acesulfame potassium, and sucralose.
Thousands of food and beverage brands use artificial sweeteners, however they are still debatable and are now being reevaluated by the World Health Organization, the European Food Safety Authority, and other health organizations.
It’s important to note that before being allowed to be used in food and beverages in the EU, all sweeteners go through a rigorous safety review by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).
Both Cancer Research UK and the US National Cancer Institute have stated that sweeteners do not cause cancer and other health issues, according to the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK.
According to Cancer Research UK, “large studies looking at individuals have now provided solid evidence that artificial sweeteners are safe for humans.”
According to Mayo Clinic, several studies have demonstrated that artificial sweeteners are safe when used in moderation, including by pregnant women.

As I studied God’s word in the 80’s The Lord explained to me that in order to understand His word you must use the Goal stated in the very beginning as a guide. “Let us make man in our image and after our likeness” Over the decades it has become increasingly more clear to me what that means and how critical it is in Knowing God and His will, plan, and ways! First He was not talking about the way we look or we would all look the same! SO what was He talking about? There is a common theme running through out God’s word that makes it clear!

That theme is God wants us to understand Him! He has in fact gone to extreme lengths to reveal Himself. Not the way He looks BUT HOW HE THINKS! WHAT MAKES HIM TICK! WHAT HE LOVES AND WHAT HE HATES AND WHY! Including Sending His Own son the express image of Himself to show Himself to us and to demonstrate His Love AND HIS UNWAVERING DETERMINATION TO FINISH WHAT HE STARTED! To mold those who have ears to hear and eyes to see and a willing heart into His image as well! Why? Well look around. What do you get when people refuse to head His instructions on now to love and how to live? Death destruction, hate, war, chaos and everything cold, dark and lonely in the world! The only hope for eternal peace is Love and it still does not come natural for us. That MUST change if we are going to experience the eternal bliss He has prepared for us and so many SAY THEY ARE SEEKING! You have to be able to create and maintain it to keep it! “Eye has not seen nor ear heard the things God has prepared for those who love Him”!
SO let us ask ourselves. DO we really want to know how God feels and what he thinks about everything in this world and the next? DO we really want to know Him as He is for Who He is? Or do we want to create a false image of Him according to what we think he should be! Do we worship God for Who and What he really is or are we worshiping a “golden calf” a fake man made image of what we want Him to be?
Let’s look at an example of what I mean. Here is a exert from the book of;
Ezekiel 9

9 He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.

SO tell me why did He only spare those who mourned and cried because of the abominations of God’s people in the land? Why not those praising His name in the temple? Why not those expounding on the goodness of God in the Temple?
So if God never changes how does this square with our image of who God really is?
DO we understand His Wrath and why He not only feels it but acts on it?
Do we think He has changed or that he no longer comes to a point where He can no longer express mercy or patience even with His people (or at least those who claim to be His) as we see here?
WE can attempt to ignore all the warnings in the New testament that paint the same picture of God The Father and His Son Jesus The Christ! Which are so numerous I can not begin to copy and paste them in this post except this one!
Revelation 2 : 12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;

SO has God changed? Does His son share His convictions, His Zeal, His Love, His hate for evil, His wrath? It seems He does if take His word seriously!
Matthew 5:13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.
14“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
SO what can we expect from Jesus when we pray for Him to intervene in the world we were commanded to occupy?
What has God always done including during the last 2,000 yrs since Jesus ascended. When the church lost it’s ability to restrain the corruption and the world progressively got worse instead of better! Which endangers more souls than in times of tribulation, by the apathy and Luke warmness the longer this trend is allowed to continue. Not to mention the stain is places on His image in the worlds eyes!
I Peter 4;5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. 6For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
7But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. 8And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 9Use hospitality one to another without grudging. 10As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Suffering as Christians
12Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 14If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. 15But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters. 16Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. 17For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 19Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
I wrote this song in the 80’s to express what I felt when God was showing me these things and as I examined my own heart.
