The offender was heard to have yelled “Allahu Akbar,” according to the witness. Dramatic events at the railway station in Ansbach, where a 17-year-old was fighting for his life!
A Muslim male aged 30, attacked two tourists at approximately 6 o’clock. He first sprang at the German teenager, age 17, and gave him a bear hug. The two tumbled down several stairs. The attacker then sat on the boy with the intention of stabbing him.
The sufferer struggled back and cried out for death. A 20-year-old man with dark complexion who had heard the cries for aid attempted to stop the attacker from attacking the victim but instead was attacked himself. Both were successful in breaking free. Fortunately, the first victim just had minor neck injuries from the strangling, but the second victim had stab and slash wounds and needed to go to the hospital.
The offender ran away.
About four minutes after the initial emergency call, a patrol arrived on the scene. Before long, representatives of an operating group showed up. The knife guy fled when the cops called at him to put down the weapon.
The 30-year-old was then placed under arrest by the police after approaching them carrying two knives. Three rounds from the service guns of two policemen struck the assailant mortally. At the scene of the crime, he passed away.
The 30-year-old Afghan man entered Germany in 2015, according to German media, and had previously been arrested for drug charges and assault. He’s from Ansbach.
Initial witness interviews revealed: A witness claims to have heard the knife man shout “Allahu akbar”. The phrase means something like “God is great” and is used by Islamists in terrorist attacks.
