In a recent statistical revelation, two-thirds of the UK’s freshly minted jobs found themselves in the hands of individuals born outside the country. This disclosure coincided with a bleak milestone, marking Britain’s unemployment at 2.5 million, including a staggering 951,000 individuals aged 16 to 24.

Against the backdrop of rising unemployment fueled by public sector job cuts, an examination of workforce demographics by birthplace and nationality unveiled a disconcerting scenario. Despite the addition of 300,000 jobs between July and September of the previous year, only one-third was claimed by native-born Britons. The lion’s share, two-thirds, was instead secured by foreign-born workers, with approximately half originating from various global regions and the remainder tracing their roots to Eastern European countries like Poland, which joined the EU in 2004.

Despite the creation of a million jobs in the past six years, the UK experienced a decline of a third of a million in the number of UK-born workers, while nearly 1.3 million foreign-born workers seamlessly integrated into the workforce. A detailed breakdown by nationality revealed that only a third of the 297,000 additional workers in the past year were British-born, leaving the majority foreign-born, albeit with 63,000 acquiring UK passports subsequently.

An astonishing revelation was the fact that almost half of the new workers did not possess British passports, including 98,000 individuals from Eastern Europe. This influx contributed to an estimated 593,000 Eastern European workers in the UK, a substantial surge from the 82,000 recorded in 2004. Meanwhile, citizens from longer-standing EU member states, such as France and Germany, experienced a slight decrease, totaling 531,000, while Indian nationals increased by 38,000 to 188,000.

Migrationwatch UK Chairman, Sir Andrew Green, dubbed these figures as “spectacular,” underscoring the possibility that foreign-born workers might be occupying positions that could be filled by British workers. He argued that the significant surge in foreign workers, particularly from Eastern Europe, amid high unemployment, including nearly a million young people, emphasized the imperative for rigorous immigration controls.

The coalition government responded by proposing a cap on non-EU immigration starting from April. Preceding this, Home Secretary Theresa May announced a one-fifth reduction in the number of non-EU workers entering Britain, setting a permanent cap at 21,700 for the upcoming year. Nevertheless, businesses retained the liberty to transfer unlimited staff from overseas to their UK offices, provided the workers stayed in Britain for less than 12 months. As the discourse on immigration control gained momentum, concerns regarding its impact on the domestic workforce and the necessity for comprehensive immigration policies took center stage.

  1. If you want to destroy the nation state and create a huge superstate, firstly you must destroy the people who make up those sovereign nations. Demographically annihilate them with mass immigration, abortion, promote homosexuality and gay marriage, but only to the Europeans.

  2. What a brilliant idea!!! Let’s bring millions of uneducated people from places with violent and unacceptable social behaviors into our cities. I love how the people from India where I work refuse to wash their hands after using the restroom walk happily into the lunch lounge and start eating with their bare hands. Do they at least wash after that? Why? They can lick them clean with no paper or water waste. Oh, nothing like talking to an engineer from the earth’s armpit and trying to understand what they are saying. This is called progress. The people who engage in the behavior and force us to accept unacceptable social behavior can shove it. What happens when you offend them? Get ready for some sensitivity training because we need to be delicate around Muslims who find offence to my sweet and sour pork.

These people can drop dead and Hitler was right. End of story.

  3. People from undeveloped nations are flocking developed countries to find jobs where they can earn more…
Basic common sense would dictate that developed nations put should systems in place to deal with the high influx of immigrants or else it would be chaos in the country for the locals who can’t find jobs because they’re all being given to immigrants.

  5. It makes little sense to keep allowing imnigrants into any nation if there are not enough jobs to go around. If all of the illegal immigrants were forced to leave the United States there would be plenty of jobs for everyone.
Immigration reform must take the center stage for all nations who are experiencing heavy unemployment. Deport all who are illegal and the children of illegal immigrants.
This has nothing to do with racism, it is just wise governance.
