A dire report prepared for President Medvedev by Russia’s Ministry of Natural Resources is warning today that the British Petroleum (BP) oil and gas leak in the Gulf of Mexico is about to become the worst environmental catastrophe in all of human history threatening the entire eastern half of the North American continent with “total destruction”.
Russian scientists are basing their apocalyptic destruction assessment due to BP’s use of millions of gallons of the chemical dispersal agent known as Corexit 9500 which is being pumped directly into the leak of this wellhead over a mile under the Gulf of Mexico waters and designed, this report says, to keep hidden from the American public the full, and tragic, extent of this leak that is now estimated to be over 2.9 million gallons a day.
The dispersal agent Corexit 9500 is a solvent originally developed by Exxon and now manufactured by the Nalco Holding Company of Naperville, Illinois that is four times more toxic than oil (oil is toxic at 11 ppm (parts per million), Corexit 9500 at only 2.61ppm). In a report written by Anita George-Ares and James R. Clark for Exxon Biomedical Sciences, Inc. titled “Acute Aquatic Toxicity of Three Corexit Products: An Overview” Corexit 9500 was found to be one of the most toxic dispersal agents ever developed. Even worse, according to this report, with higher water temperatures, like those now occurring in the Gulf of Mexico, its toxicity grows.
The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in discovering BP’s use of this dangerous dispersal agent ordered BP to stop using it, but BP refused stating that their only alternative to Corexit 9500 was an even more dangerous dispersal agent known as Sea Brat 4.
The main differences between Corexit 9500 and Sea Brat 4 lie in how long these dangerous chemicals take to degrade into their constituent organic compounds, which for Corexit 9500 is 28 days. Sea Brat 4, on the other hand, degrades into an organic chemical called Nonylphenol that is toxic to aquatic life and can persist in the environment for years.
A greater danger involving Corexit 9500, and as outlined by Russian scientists in this report, is that with its 2.61ppm toxicity level, and when combined with the heating Gulf of Mexico waters, its molecules will be able to “phase transition” from their present liquid to a gaseous state allowing them to be absorbed into clouds and allowing their release as “toxic rain” upon all of Eastern North America.
Even worse, should a Katrina like tropical hurricane form in the Gulf of Mexico while tens of millions of gallons of Corexit 9500 are sitting on, or near, its surface the resulting “toxic rain” falling upon the North American continent could “theoretically” destroy all microbial life to any depth it reaches resulting in an “unimaginable environmental catastrophe” destroying all life forms from the “bottom of the evolutionary chart to the top”.
Note: For molecules of a liquid to evaporate, they must be located near the surface, be moving in the proper direction, and have sufficient kinetic energy to overcome liquid-phase intermolecular forces. Only a small proportion of the molecules meet these criteria, so the rate of evaporation is limited. Since the kinetic energy of a molecule is proportional to its temperature, evaporation proceeds more quickly at higher temperatures.
As over 50 miles of the US State of Louisiana’s coastline has already been destroyed by this spill, American scientists are warning that the damage may be impossible to repair, and as we can read as reported by the Associated Press News Service:
And to understand the full import of this catastrophe it must be remembered that this disaster is occurring in what is described as the “biologically richest waters in America” with the greatest amount of oil and toxic Corexit 9500 set to come ashore in the coming days and weeks to destroy it completely for decades to come.
Reports are also coming from the United States that their government is secretly preparing to evacuate tens-of-millions of their citizens from their Gulf of Mexico States should the most dire of these scientific warnings start to come true.
To the greatest lesson to be learned by these Americans is that their government-oil industry cabal has been just as destructive to them as their government-banking one, both of which have done more to destroy the United States these past couple of years than any foreign enemy could dare dream was possible.
But to their greatest enemy the Americans need look no further than their nearest mirror as they are the ones who allowed these monsters to rule over them in the first place.

Dear World:
We are ever so sorry, but we will no longer be able to service your needs as our the USA is presently offline for repairs. Until such time as repairs can be completed, please make alternate arrangements for humanitarian aid and assistance as we must now retain remaining medication, medical staffing, transport vessels, foodstuffs, water purification equipment, agricultural equipment, educational supplies, and building equipment–as well as manpower–to assist the poor, impoverished, hungry, homeless and injured here in the United States.
Additionally,we will be unavailable to offer military assistance to other nations in the forseeable future as our resources must be devoted to securing our own borders during this vulnerable time. We understand that this may create an opportunity for some and an inconvenience for others–especially during this period of increasing tectonic and political instability around the globe. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience your country may experience while we conduct our internal repairs. Rest assured, we are working to resolve these issues and make this necessesary period of isolationism as painless as possible. We thank all of our allies for their most enlightened, astute, swift and compassionate response to our plight.
Truly Yours,
The “Stupid Americans who deserve everything they get”
P.S.
If the candidate of this “Stupid American” had stood any real chance of
having been elected, this letter would not have been tongue in cheek.
Our troops would have been home DECADES ago following a non-interventionist
policy and guarding ONLY our own shores.
Our money would have been spent to aid th poor in THIS country FIRST–charity
begins at home. There would be no economic crisis here by now because fiat
currency, and the FED, would long ago have been abolished.
The truth is AMERICANS HAVE NO VOTE. IT IS ALL A LIE. We are about as free
as Iraq was under Sadam, the only difference is we are given the illusion
of freedom. You are blaming an oppressed, propagandised and drugged people
(flouridation, vaccines, squalene, mercury and more) for the crimes of their
oppressors.
Thank for helping to liberate us …Allies. The way you spit in our faces
does much to aid our oppressors.
half of that is true, but quit your whining. Do you think freedom ever came easy?
What are you doing about it? Other then being a brat.
What are the american people doing about it?
Stop projecting your self loathing on others, just because you feel impotent doesn’t mean you are.
“spit in our faces” Give me a break there was nothing malicious in the article.
And do you think you’re falsely elected government is really doing all those “good” things you quoted above for purely selfless reasons?
Stop being such a baby and do something to help.
Ignorance is bliss…you happy fool
We are all one and the American people, American government and people and government of the world need to accept that. We are all brothers and sisters lets help each other. Overlook the stupidity of individuality and look into the spirit. We are all one. :)
Amen Morri! It seems we stupid Americans have to go rescue everybody’s asses every time anything happens. If it weren’t for stupid America’s stupid Hubble Telescope, you wouldn’t have the never before seen stupid pictures of the stupid universe. We are so stupid we export stupid medical technology to keep all the smart people in the world alive. (they’re smart, we’re stupid) To date, the most stupid thing America ever did was to stop Hitler and other tyrants who oppressed you smart people. ok, I don’t really care about that. I’m still reeling at the abject stupidity of a country that would spend billions of dollars sending out the Hubble to seek answers out there in the stupid universe. I mean really. Who cares where the universe came from? Assuming it came from anywhere? Aristotle said the universe is eternal. That’s good enough for me. Why don’t we all just get laid?
You’re still falling for your government line. Try leaving your country someday, and you’ll hear the same thing from everyone:
“We love Americans, but we hate their government.”
We don’t hate you, we hate what is done in your name by your rulers. Thinking we hate you just plays into your rulers’ hands.
oh please . . . stop asking for pity for us consumers of 80% of the available energy in times past . . but now that we are not so dominant other countries are getting some too . . .
who said we’re entitled? We’re so great . . . consume, consume, consume . . and then complain and moan when the results of our greedy consumption come home to roost.
35+ years since Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring and so little has been accomplished and this previous poster seems to still think Americans deserve some sort of medal for using energy mindlessly over our history. Too bad. . . poor us? What a joke that is – the most consuming culture since perhaps Nero’s Rome? Here we are fiddling, while the oceans are polluted, our air unbreathable for many sufferers of asthma, etc.,
We are the new dinosaurs except that we will participate in our own destruction one way or another – in contrast to the dinosaurs who were indeed victims of circumstance. We are not – we are victims of complaisence, greed, etc.
Consume consume consume you say? My carbon footprint is only 2.3 I grow my own food organically, make my own clothing on an old Singer foot treadle sewing machine using fabrics my daughter gets for me when she goes to the second hand thrift shops, I cook using mostly solar or using the kettle and thermos method of cooking. I heat my water in 50 gallon black drums a friend who works at the recycling center gave me. I built my own solar oven and dehydrators using cardboard boxes. In winter I confine myself to a single, small room in my house lined with reflective material that reflects 90% of heat back into the room and have solar conduction panels at the window (home made) to heat air and pull it into the room using the properties of convection. I rise with the sun and sleep with the sunset so I don’t need much electricity at all. The only reason my footprint is as high as it is–is because I have a bank account. If I ditch the bank you can shave another .4 tonnes off that figure. I am disabled, a shut in because I as I CANNOT drive and manage to survive off $425.00 USD per month (my husbands pittance as he cannot find better pay in this economy–not welfare). Most of which goes for taxes, co-pays and medication. I am dirt poor yes, but I eat and dress well by my own hand as I am an accomplished gardener and seamstress, so people would never know we are poor to look at us. NOT ALL AMERICANS ARE MASSIVE CONSUMERS! Sweeping generalizations lead to unfounded prejudices. Perhaps in your own social strata those you know are massive consumers. But this is hardly the case for myself and many others of the Cherokee Nation nor other tribes of 1st people. This lifestyle is not just ours either. You paint the Amish, subsistence farmers, and poor people of every colour and creed who make do with very little in this country (think the great masses living in tent cities or on the streets are consuming like mad?). Generalizations can be cruel.
this is just because they steal oil from Iraq and GODS rule if you steal 1 dollar then get ready to loose 10 dollars..GOD is not far away my friend.
“A dire report prepared for President Medvedev by Russia’s Ministry of Natural Resources is warning today that the British Petroleum (BP) oil and gas leak in the Gulf of Mexico is about to become the worst environmental catastrophe in all of human history threatening the entire eastern half of the North American continent with “total destruction”
How about FIRST provide us with a link to the actual report, instead of a “source” that proves to be “http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/”, the site for the paranoid misfits all over the world?
Fabricated article or not is less the point for me. This toxic oil spill is a result of lax government policy greatly fostered by Bush and Cheney (behind closed doors with no oversight). Any time the oil policy is being dictated by the oil executives and people from deep in the heart of the oil industry, one can safely surmise that profiteering will be the final frontier. Now, we have Obama who is firstly a city boy and not clued into this place as a planet that we all survive on. He has been a slow mover on environmental protections. So we have a perfect storm of lack of regulation, an infused cowboy mentality in the oil business and now lack of interest to upgrade needed regulations. One of Bushes favorite lines was “let’s let the industry regulate itself, they know best how to do this”. Yea right! Reagan initiated this whole deregulation dance. Now we get to see how this all plays out. Maybe this is an article built on over exaggeration but it has spurred this lively debate and reminded us that we are all on this planet and need to find ways to coexist with the natural world that supports us all. I, for one, am very concerned about the environmental effects of Corexit 9500 and the byproduct created when blended with crude oil deposits gushing from a well a mile under the sea. Is shifting the pollution a real answer or just an equation for a more complex problem? Is the new toxicity created less harmful to fish and the integrity of the ocean environment or more toxic?
Interesting that the EPA told BP to stop using Corexit 9500 and they stubbornly refused. This is another symptom of the corporate arrogance that got us into this disaster. Time to regulate this toxic industry and find another way or ways to power the world. The car and petroleum industries have led us around by our wallets long enough. There are great advances being made with electric, hydrogen on demand, air and even water propulsion systems. We can vote with our wallets anew to buy what works from companies like Tesla who deliver an environmetally friendly product. However, what is an even bigger need is a serious retrofit program for all existing automobiles. Something that converts them to other fuels or at least extends mileage. One web site I have been following is: water4gas.com. They are moving the technology in this direction by creating hydrogen ondemend. I am sure there are others but the urgency of this is now being ever more strongly punctuated by this ever growing toxic mess in the Gulf of Mexico. Since we can not trust or depend on government to get us the regulation and safeties needed. It is time to act and create the change needed. Does anyone else have any ideas along these lines. Come on we are Americans and members of the world community. Creativity and innovations are our ways of getting out of problems. I welcome your supportive, solution oriented suggestions. Together we can make a difference. Thanks, Jack.
I think I can assume that most of you drive gasoline powered vehicles. It would seem to me that until you go back to using horses and donkeys you are part of the problem. They wouldn’t be drilling for oil if you weren’t using it. Further if anyone expects a government of any kind to be able to do something substantive about this problem you are living in a dream world. The company by the way is British not American not that this makes any difference. It’s quite possible that if you buy retirement funds that are managed for you, you would find that you are part owners of the mess. So instead of trying to lay blame lets see if we can find a way to fix the problem.
 New plumes detected by NOAA are from fissures/cracks in the ceiling above the oil reservoir…that means the roof is caving in…when this SINK HOLE scenario takes place all the crude will escape rapidly and the sea will rush in like a giant blender….the gases will escape and enter the atmosphere..being heavier than oxygen they will force the oxygen up as these gases are carried into Gulf Coast towns and cities….inhabitants will struggle to breathe like fish out of water, then die from poisoning in a mass genocide….this could happen in the next hour, have fun..
What a massive crock. Where is one shred of proof about this article’s ‘sources?’ About the only thing they got “mostly right” is about the Correxit 9500 being dangerous. As for the rest, cow pucky. The last estimate for the leak is LESS THAN 5000 gallons a day not some wildly inflated 2.9 million gallons per day. Also, after doing a Google on this site, why is it unknown to ACTUAL news Organizations?
So, I guess the answer to this question is simply, whoever wrote the article made it up. Too bad, since properly written with verified FACTS, it could have sparked reasoned and intelligent debate.
“But to their greatest enemy the Americans need look no further than their nearest mirror as they are the ones who allowed these monsters to rule over them in the first place.”
I am an American who agrees with this statement. Over the past few decades, Americans have allowed election officials to turn over the process of counting votes to private companies to do in secret, thereby allowing our elections to be undetectably stolen by anyone with access to the voting technology. Elections are possibly the only major industry in America not subjected to independent manual auditing of computer results. Election officials and voting vendors have conflated the concept of anonymous balloting with secret vote counting, thus inferring a special right to themselves to secretly count votes without any public scrutiny over the ballot security, reconciliation, or counting processes.
Americans has thus completely lost control of who governs us. Americans need to wake up and take action.
:( THE FATE OF ALL MANKIND I FEAR IS IN THE HANDS OF FOOLS!
this is not about god and politics. this is about the earth. please put your focus where it matters. you have to want the earth to be healthy. this is a result of not caring about the earth and not treating her with respect. you are alive on an amazing planet that could be just fine without god and politics. people. ha. we could be so much more.
https://amadeus.bvdep.com/amadeus/top20/report_2.htm
BP is mostly an American-owned company, the Americans know it by the name Amoco.
I live in South Georgia, and with the BP Catastrophe and the REAL economy here. The people driving around, going to walmart, are in denial or most likely don’t have a clue as to our future. I think we are likely screwed.
Marc
BP actually stands for beyond petroleum. The name was changed from British Petroleum months back. To boost American sales of course. Just like Bank of America who’s original name was bank of Italy and yes it still is an Italian bank… The more you know …. :)
:-D Just where are these 10’s of millions of Johnny Rebs gonna evacuate to? Surely not North of the Mason-Dixon line..We don’t need no inbred moron, funny talkin’ Bill Hillies in N.Y., Penna., N. J., Michigan, Ohio, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Indiana, Illinois,… my forefathers whooped their cowardly asses in the 19th century and I’ve dealt with them alot this century..
God has ordained us to use his resources for his glory, so what if billions of creatures die, they aren’t made in ‘the image and likeness of’, so quit belly-achin commies! We are the chosen and it was god angers at not using this miraculous fluid that caused the blow-out……you russkies used radiation to kill all your caribou and native people and thats why whatever happens, well be the ones in heaven; you’ll have to clean up the spill……for eternity…….praise Jesus!
I was born in Ohio, moved to Texas 21 years ago, I will never go back up there,
“I wasn’t born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could”
All because of guys like you lstevenspak
Folks, this is one more outrageously deceptive article by the notorious “Sorcha Faal” (David Booth) who weaves fact and fiction together seamlessly to create these alarming, paranoid screeds. Check out his work at whatdoesitmean.com and find out for yourselves. “Sorcha,” a purported Russian journalist, is always quoting Russian sources and organizations, many of which do not exist. Google “sorcha faal hoax” — there’s plenty to chew on there.
Someone above wrote: <> Well, the scientists who reported this probably don’t exist.
There’s also a gross internal contradiction in the article. See if you can spot it.
And for what it’s worth, the name “Sorcha” is Irish, not Russian.
Thank you, Dan, for clarifying that this article originated from “Sorcha Faal”, which makes it a COMPLETE HOAX!
You can all sleep tight tonight, at least for now.
As an American overseas I want to say read the book Blackwater- our Government is privatized and many of us fight it and continue to fight it until we are blue in the face and become sick. When European petrol prices go up then Europeans can also look in the mirror- not only is the US corrupt but so is Europe- we are all at fault and we are all dependent on the oil industry to some degree. The Bush Regime is highly responsible for this disaster, maybe even more so than BP and the others who have also been recognized as being involved. But America is very lucky it happened to BP and not Exxon. Many Europeans also need to open their eyes and not judge all Americans as dimwits or capable of preventing their corrupt Government from ruling or rigging electronic voting systems. Many of us are still living in a slave and feudal system to a great extent and human compassion needs to see internationally not only within one or a few territories- this is the human beings limitation.
What a slanted and disgusting article – obviously the person who wrote is wishing for the destruction of the United States already. Way to propagate your hate….take your evil out of this world!
BP’s strategy is 100% consistent with all mainstream thinking on pollution: “Out of Sight = Out of Mind”
That’s why the US can get away with poisoning Iraqis with depleted uranium – it’s an invisible killer.
Hurricane season looks to be quite active this year, so the Gulf Coast will be subject to evacuations anyway. Remember : extracting oil and gas from the Gulf of Mexico has caused subsibence of the coast as underlying deposits are removed. Burning all those fossil fuels will guarantee sea level rise as a symptom of a warming climate. In other words, goodbye to southern Florida even if you don’t get oil slicks on your beaches. The real damage will be from burning more oil in all your SUV’s.
Very disturbing. But the article conveniently — and quite unsurprisingly — doesn’t mention British Petroleum and their despicable behavior.
And this terrible crisis isn’t being helped by absurdities such as a reference to a ‘secret plan’ (so how does this writer know about it) to evacuate the Gulf states.
Those of you who are smug about the US’ culpability might well remember that you’re going to suffer the consequences too. This disaster will soon become a global one.
Those of us who have been following the emergence of the new world order antichrist beast system have been looking for another 911 event to take place since 911. And now we have found it! And it is on 3 scales and incidents. Katrina, in that there were bombs set off to destroy the levees; and there is considerable proof! And then the Haitian earthquake that killed hundreds of thousands of poor and impoverished Haitians. And now this! Where it will affect our whole economy and eco-system for decades to come.
And all of this is being done to bring the United States into total economic ruination; so that the beast system will emerge to rule the whole world. And it is the International Bankers/Bilderbergers/Illuminati/Council of Foreign Relations/Freemasonry devils/United Nations who will rule the whole world and turn it over to their lord Lucifer and his fallen angels and antichrist beast leader.
And then they will force the whole world to take their mark of the beast chip in their foreheads or hands. And it will make its host their brainless zombie slaves. And you will lose the love for your families and husbands and wives once you have had it in you for several weeks and months. And the beast leader will be your god and you will be his slave and zombie autonotom!! Read Revelation’s 13 and 14 and especially Revelation 14:9-11.
Better listen to this guy, folks! He’s got it nailed! You can scoff all you want about the “Mark of the Beast”, but it’s already here! The Universal Product Code (UPC) on three 6-digit number sequences, i.e. 666! And YOU are considered just another “product” by the satanist elite. They want to put a microchip in your hand so desperately, they can taste it!
You’ll eventually find out that the tin-foil hat crowd was right all along, and that you should have been paying closer attention to what they were saying.
The thing here is not that is a conspiracy from Russia. We need to see the news from outside countries and not just CNN or Fox. Then we come up with our own conclusions….
Well I agree that the US has begun to morph into the concept of that movie: Idiocracy, beginning in my mind with the Reagan Admin. That all dissembling and deregulation began then.
The average American is either working too hard on that treadmill the big corporations/government has us on, or is too intellectually lazy and self indulgent to bother with anything outside his ‘toys’ and gratifications.
What is as horrifying as the Wall St. meltdown, and this leak in the Gulf, is the Supreme Court’s ruling on corporations being able to fund political parties, candidates, agendas.
This is the last nail in the coffin for Americans. The tragedy is that most of the middle class are so asleep or stupid, that they support this, even vigorously. They have allowed themselves to be brainwashed by those on the Right and the almighty buck, led by fools like Palin, Limbaugh, Beck.
We have become a nation without hope at this point.
I advise you to find out about the electronic voting system being rigged in American and the man who did it was killed a couple days before the last election so he would not spill out the truth about the Rep. Wake-up there is more going on in American than what people perceive and I will say there are many good people in the US who are trying to stop corruption and I can assure you Obama is one of them but nobody is perfect and certainly not other countries. I am in NZ now and do you think the Gov. is honest and forthright to its citizens- do you think that the Key Administration is not driven by the almight dollar-well think again. The anarchist Russian feminist Emma Goldman said “Ignorance is the most violent element in society” and she could not have been more right.
The reason why the United States and the UK and all the other Allied nations went to war against the NAZI’s [National Socialists] was because they wanted no part of a United Europe, they all wanted their sovereignty and integrity and financial security, but after the war the socialists set up a United Nations which was simply the League of Nations which was rejected because it was a threat to the sovereignty integrity and financial stability of each european country, now Europe is united and a total failure except for the countries that held on to some of their will, but America is now being merged just like Europe, our merger is called The SPP, Security and prosperity partnership, it seeks to remove all borders and turn America into a third world slum from sea to oily sea. Meanwhile Prince Edward the Queen’s husband who was shamed for his support of eugenics and the NAZI’s collects a very nice dividend from BP and his company which lets you pay him to plant a tree for you to offset your carbon footprint, Its very funny how the WWF is funded by big oil, ALL ENVIRONMENTAL GROUPS were created and or funded by BIG OIL. Meanwhile the bankers sell you carbon credits which are a fancy way of saying derivatives backed by thin air.
Europe has never met a king or a dictator they didnt love, America will be just fine and if we sneeze Europe catches a bullet so they better hope nothing happens to us because seriously, all they have is Germany and France, Let them eat cake mein fuhrer
This fits into the NWO plan of “Agenda 21” if you don’t know what that is look it up! a warning though you will not like what you will find.
as for millions of gallons of corexit I think not they haven’t even hit the million gallon mark yet.
Just wait for a storm at 30mph water droplets get ripped from the surface of the water, at 50mph oil and tar will easily be picked up and taken miles inland at 70-100mph it will easily take it 100’s of miles inland and if an F4-5 come in it has the ability to take it up to the great lakes. That means every open water source will be contaminated, lakes, rivers, streams, storm drainage reservoirs, water treatment plants, etc. But not only that but every farm field and food supply. live stock and wild game. If you don’t think this will effect you and your in north america…Wake the F… Up! Food will easily have doubled in price and that’s if you can even get it. Buy food now stock up at least 6months if not a years worth of none perishables! you will save money anyways as food is always increasing but if this happens you will not starve to death.
Very nice indeed.
We voted out a corporate stooge, only to replace him with a corporate stooge.
We continue to fund wars abroad while allowing our nation to fall into complete disrepair. We bail out the rich and tell the poor to fend for themselves.
This nation….
Economic policy is written by wall street
Foreign policy is written by the military industrial complex
Health policy is written by big insurance
Energy policy is written by big oil companies
We are no longer a constitutional republic, the United States of America is now a wholly owned subsidiary of corporate special interests.
We need to stand up and revolt, if we do not, we are doomed.
Where does the line form, I am in!
Yes, BRITISH Petroleum’s oil rig goes to hell, spews oil everywhere, destroys untold amounts of marine life and now human life.. and americans need to look no further than their nearest mirror. It’s always america’s fault.
And when BP petrol prices go up it will also be Americas fault not BPS or anyone elses. Europe and anyone dependent on BP petrol will feel it maybe even more than America but they won’t have the environmental disaster.
Nuke Britain NOW
“Russian scientists”…name those scientists or we’ll just assume that this article is from Sorcha Faal (David Booth).
It is just one more symptom, albeit a very nasty one this time, of the ‘marriage of the Bigs’ — Big government, merging together with Big Oil, Big Pharma/Health, Big Chem-Ag (e.g. Monsanto/FDA), Banking, Media, etc. The hard fact is that corporate greed and irresponsibility reign unchecked while the government gives a sly wink-and-nod (all the while feigning ‘outrage’ for the 6:00 News-bytes).
Americans (and I was one once) have allowed the country to descend (and is now free-falling) into a fascist-corporate-police state, by swallowing unquestioned all the lies and propaganda that has been shoveled down their throats for decades by a complicit and subservient media.
America has never been a democracy – but a republic, and in the last several decades, that has morphed into a full-blown plutocratic oligarchy.
Americans are being systematically screwed – out of their freedoms and rights, their ability to discern the truth, their due prosperity, their livelihoods and now their environment, and their and their childrens’ futures. YET, still, the vast majority are far more interested in the Simpsons and the Sopranos than in the Senate.
seems all i have been hearing from the Russians lately has been truth and sanitys……
Regardless of the problems with this oil disaster, if I asked for the time, I wouldn’t believe the answer if it came from Russia under Putin.
Georgia Guidestones call for culling the world population down to half billion. These people interested in purging the planet of humans hold the reins of power so 150 million dead Americans is barely a drop in the bucket toward achieving their goal.
Perhaps N. Korea and Pakistan will play their roles as the bad guys setting off nukes in various places? Russian, USA & China soon follow?
Let’s not fail to mention the blathering of pompous Israeli’s bragging how “they” control America and will ultimately rule the entire world.
We must remember, the scientists reporting this are from RUSSIA, you know, the country that is trying to compete for the bulk of the oil industry dollars. I wouldn’t be surprised if Russia sent a submarine and tipped that rig over themselves.
The author, a masochist and a bleeding heart said, “But to their greatest enemy the Americans need look no further than their nearest mirror as they are the ones who allowed these monsters to rule over them in the first place.”
This is the same horse pucky as “the enemy is us (sic.)”. THE ENEMY IS NOT WE. THE ENEMY IS BP AND THE US CONGRESS AND OBAMA ADMINISTRATION.
Don’t you dare point me to a mirror and tell me that is the enemy.
Is everyone forgetting that BP is a European company ?!
Full company name: BP p.l.c.
Place of Registration: England and Wales
Registered Number: 102498
Registered Address: 1 St James’s Square, London, SW1Y 4PD
BP, formerly British Petroleum until they started buying other companies that had nothing to do with Petroleum, thus the name change to Beyond Petroleum. How people can be so narrow as to think this is America’s fault alone is astonishing but yet typical! This is a global problem, and the bill should hit the taxpayers of the “United States of Europe” as well, yes, a term you can thank Winston Churchill for.
This is a catastrophe that we haven’t even begun to understand the implications of. The finger pointing back and forth across the Atlantic is unhelpful and will never solve the problem at hand. We are all humans and will suffer greatly because of this. Let’s not forget the innocent creatures that are completely defenseless out there that need a solution, and fast.
Perspectives are interesting……here’s one, the reality is a good portion of Americans can trace there blood lines directly to you, team Europe, so realize you are only hurting your brothers and sisters. Isn’t there enough hate in the world without adding more OIL (fuel) to needless fires?
How about let’s start posting possible solutions that may get heard or better yet, possibly/actually work…fingers crossed! A much better use of this misdirected energy, I think.
HELP!
If “we” all allowed it to happen then “they” aren’t responsible, ever. They have the ultimate “Get out of jail free” card. Lie, cheat, steal, kill etc. and all they have to do is say we were all to blame, we were all in on it; therefore, they are not responsible. Starting a war based on lies that breaks the bank of the federal budget while the richest 1% get tax cuts is just one example of the fraud perpetrated by our “public servants.” Did you have anything to do with that?

Just to clarify, I wasn’t talking specifically about this report. I was talking general about “Sorcha Faal’s” reports. Many of them are outrageously false. Check out this one for example
http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index1363.htm
No, the USA is responsible Joe, just like Canada would be responsible if this happened off our coast. The US Environmental Protection Agency didn’t do its job and BP did what corporations do, cut corners and take unnecessary risks in order to make a profit.
The EPA let this particular well be constructed without a proper environmental assessment. There is a loop hole in your environmental protection laws that allows small, unobtrusive structures like outhouses and things, to be constructed without a EA. For some reason, the EPA used this process for the Deep Horizon rig. Why not? It’s basically an outhouse right? I have read other allegations that BP was operating the rig recklessly.
This happened because of corruption at the highest levels. And it is the American people’s fault. They are no where to be found when these decisions are being made. They are supposed to be in control of their government. But they are too lazy to educate themselves on what is happening in their own country. It is just as bad here in Canada.
These people have basically ruined the Gulf of Mexico and you let them. It is your civic duty to be able to understand the policies, and the bureaucracies and procedures of your government. Because when you don’t, they get to do whatever they want. And they will always act in their own self interest.
I know its blaming the victim here, but no one else can stop what these business and political elite are doing to you. You can’t even hope for some super power to come along and dispose of your corrupt government. No country would dare challenge the US militaristically. No one else can stop a transnational from abusing America other than the American people.
We can offer you solidarity and support, but we can’t do it for you. Please, take responsibility and stop your government and your business leaders from ruining the world.
HELP!
ALTON….I could not agree with you more!!! Your post was right on, and accurate!!! This nation has been dead for AT LEAST a decade… the problem is theres too many divided people to make a change… there needs to be a united peoples front against our govt….and if u guys around the world think the us govt is vicious to yall…try crossing them on home soil….our lands are not as “free” as they used to be.
Please read this letter that was sent to the director of BP from Congress who called out BP on their practices TWO MONTHS before the rig blew and please, please please spread it!
Thank you!

Joe you make no sense man!
In what way?
Eutimes.net is run by the same people who run whatdoesitmean.com with the infamous “sorcha faal”. They post some good links but their conclusions are often outrageous and demonstrably false.
I was not familiar with E.U. TImes and couldn’t get much information on it other than at the E.U.T. site itself. My mirror does not reflect anyone whose vote made any difference in this situation. And the use of the word, “monsters,” will tend to marginalize your reporting, which, in most aspects, appears to be at least referenced to sources. If you just couldn’t resist that last paragraph, and have no editor, you might do better to use the singular, referencing the cabal as being the monster. Also, “reports coming in from the United States” is not good enough. What reports, from whom?
Once again, the Historical way to conquer people is: Divide and Conquer! If you think this is just a result of the USA and its people, dream on- the whole world is responsible for this catastrophe, not just the USA.
If there is a god, i can assure you he will be casting these oil company executives into hell. But since there is no god, it’s up to us to help ourselves by not giving them any more power. Looking in the mirror is exactly what we should do. Don’t forget there were 8 years of Bush and Cheney. Cheney, of course, having a great deal to do with this disaster. Watching and waiting for things to sort themselves out is what has us here in the first place.
There is no such thing as god. All gods are imaginary and do not exist. They exist only within the simple minds of the deluded sheeple.
WISE OWL ,I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU,AND I AM NOT DELUDED
Yes Ed you are deluded and brainwashed from birth! I feel sorry for you!
Hogwash. Scientists have been trying to replicate the DNA molecule in the laboratory for decades now, and haven’t even come close. But you atheists and “secular humanists” swear that it all happened by accident millions of years ago! And that everything that now lives, as varied and different as can be, evolved from that unique accident.
The odds against this happening by accident are at least 10 raised to the 50th power, and I’m sure that’s way too conservative.
Bottom line is you atheists don’t know shit about what you speak. Better get right with your Creator while there’s still time.
yep – no god. delusion abounds throughout the world. @ stephen – scientists haven’t come close? is that why i just read that scientists have successfully created a synthetic dna that they can transplant into a host cell? know what YOU are talking about before you embarrass yourself with recycled garbage god-loving arguments against logic. learn to enjoy the life you have before you waste the rest of it waiting for your fairytale ending. you want to start talking about odds? you should consider pondering the odds that you’re going to ascend into a magical land after you cease to live. use your brain, genius.
Why fall back on the Bush and Cheney excuse.Yes, the oil company executives should suffer for their arrogance and greed and they should be punished now. The new administration has shown their power to spit on and destroy the constitution which had been around for hundreds of years therefor to correct the mistakes of a couple past administrations should have been easy for the all powerful Obama and crew. They put all their efforts into trying to socialize America and destroy everything the United States stood for.Maybe one day the politicians and the media will come clean and we will really find out what happened to that oil rig and why response to fix the problem was lethargic and pitiful.
LOL! Bush/Cheney excuse?
You obviously haven’t paid any attention to this issue. There was an explicit effort by Bush and Cheney to remove the regulation/safeguards/enviromental protection studies, etc….that would have prevented this mess…so their oil barron cronies could make instant profits.
If I were a member of the ‘Drill, Baby, Drill’ and ‘De-regulate Oil Drilling’ party…I would be hanging my head in shame, instead of trying to point the finger at Obama, for the criminal negligence of the GOP.
I’m thinking it’s everyone’s fault…like a drug, if we didn’t perpetuate the need for it there wouldn’t be a need to risk getting it.
Umm this is not the fault of the current administration – this is the fault of BP and Haliburton taking shortcuts….And besides, we are all guilty because of our hunger and thirst for oil. If we learned to reduce our dependency, we wouldn’t be in this situation in the first place…..
If Sarah Palin had her way, we’d be drilling all over the damn ocean – leaving all of us vulnerable.
John with all due respect it is in fact partially due to the current administration because he and his cabinet sit idly by and let BP do what it wants. One example is they are allowing them to CONTINUE to disperse known toxics chemicals into the ocean. Also, there have been many people trying to help with the spill and suggest alternatively and environmentally sound practices to help with the spill and it’s not being allowed.
Also the government (and not just our government) has intentionally kept alternative energy practices hidden and repressed from mainstream society. One example is the water powered car. Yes there IS a water powered car, but where’s the money in that. So respectfully I say that this is in part the current administration’s fault, especially as they continue to allow off-shore drilling. I’m not so keen on placing blame bc I think we all know this was done on purpose to further the global agenda on some level.
Btw, Congress KNEW of BP’s faulty practices. See this letter:
http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/Grijalva%20MMS%20ltr.pdf
This letter is a forgery. It does not appear anywhere on the NPR site related to the story about BP Atlantis, which, by the way, is a different drilling site than the Deepwater Horizon which is causing the current spill.
We have enough problems solving this disaster without trumped up talk about a “global agenda.”
I think the only global agenda is GREED: everyone has some, but just a few have enough of it and the opportunity to wreak havoc with it.
Very scary, although I expect the worst case scenario they talk about is overplayed to make US policies look bad and mother Russia’s policies look good.
On the flip side I also think the BP and Haliburton companies should be completely dissolved and all shares, products, offices, rigs, etc etc should be sold off to other companies, the executives at the top need to know there is a very large risk in cutting corners and they will loose allot more than there yearly bonus if preventable things go wrong.
The best solution would be to revoke the charters of all of these corporations. It is the corp charters that make the CEOs of these companies untouchable criminally. I bet they would all clean up their acts when several of their cronies were executed in public for this mess.
I wish us stupid americans could make this happen. I wish we were allowed to elect goverment officiaals worth electing.
BP/EXXON owned Alaska Pipeline Shut down today May 25, 2010, due to SPILL. Not one word of that in any media, nor Exxon owned CNN?
http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE64P04U20100526
I am assuming you’re the same dick head employed by B.P. A. There was a report on C.N.N on the Alaskan spill, You must have had your head stuck up your ass as usual. B. How dare you morons at B.P. come to my home land and destroy our way of life, and then have the audacity to lie to people saying its a small leak just a drop in the bucket. You are a first class idiot.
bhopal, india ring a bell, ed?
our “help” in s. america?
what about recent nation building in the middle east, ed?
must be a dark, smelly and scary place where YOUR head resides.
There was a recent news item in the Anchorage Daily News about the pipeline restarting after the spill there, the restart was within the last couple of days. I believe that http://www.adn.com us their website.
Yes it was in the news, the containment are captured the oil and employees were already on the clean up.
i agree with Ria and Chris
Well said Chris. Global issues begin in our communities. In fact, they begin in our home. Hone in in to our personal, social behaviors and what we do behind close doors effects the world.
Anne and Jocob…
do you ever see any political campaign with just one candidate? or do you see them with a whole team of assistants, media people, rent-a-crowds etc etc
until you guys stop thinking in terms of individual effort, nothing will be gained.
Try walking into the whitehouse with a whole crew of influencial people, backed by intelligent strategy (like the politicans do) and a fair share of financial resources and I can promise you will be take a lot more seriously.
Time to start thinking as a whole, a community of the world. The power players strategy of ‘divide and concquer’ has worked so brilliantly that a lot of effort needs to be put into actually uniting.
Black, white, indian, muslim, jews…doesnt matter, Put aside your racial hatred and focus your energy on the true enemy at hand.
Chris
:-D I am in agreement with you Chris, while searching the web a site appeared–so I wrote my feelings–BBC/Conversation Forum for Human Evolution-the Aquatic Ape Hypothesis.–here goes:
GULF OIL CRISIS This is the importance- Man has got this idea that they are GODS and therefore, they should make their non-intelligent thoughts be the thoughts for all. They are wrong! Universal God gave man a choice-to choose Him. These people that THINK they are in control are not-they are FAKES. Man only uses 10-11% of his brain-they know nothing! If they really knew GOD,-their god is destruction, murder, 20 pieces of silver or gold. They are willing to sacrifice over 2/3 of the world and destroy ‘GOD’S Creation’. GOD put us here
to PROTECT the earth and contents-NOT DESTROY-What twisted entity came up with filling the GULF with oil? Surely they did not need the money! So, THINK,
WHY? This sick plan is not correct-for one to think(?)-with what limited brain power they have-they are going to save civilization? What is civil about
what they are doing? If they can not take care of this World-what in GODs’ name makes them think(?)THE GOD of the UNIVERSE is going to give them another to destroy-Oh it is mind set-lol-get a grip
on REALITY-not power play and their non-intellectual thoughts-GOD gave us a CHOICE-the power is not in our small minds the power is IN the REAL GOD-not the FAKERS trying to be GODS. Oh yea of little minds. My human side is so heartbroken-the very air we breathe, the water we drink, the poisoned food we eat, the LIVING_SPIRITAL BEINGS they are destroying makes my
heart crumble into the very sands by the Gulf -any one being that lives near oceans knows the kindred.
We all are ONE-when they destroy the earth-they are making their own eternal planet—GULP GULP I imagine the mammals that came up for air to breathe
and all they got was Ka-Ching $$$$$$$ and sank to the bottom. It is NOT OKAY-Mother Nature is crying out-earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, hail, fire and here comes the hurricanes. The destruction you make, is the one in which you will live eternally.
‘Worry not my friend, for if not now the WORLD BEYOND is PROMISED-have the patience to live in this world and the WISDOM to accept the GIVEN, for life here is but a few years and the WORLD BEYOND an ETERNITY of LIVING’ “CC 1973 given to me by the Holy Spirit. “But to their greatest enemy the Americans need look no further than their nearest mirror as they are the ones who allowed these monsters to rule over them in the first place.”
Um so if we voted against who-ever is in office we were supposed to do WHAT exactly?? Oh that’s right it is just our fault regardless because obviously it is the simplest thing in the world to just walk into the white house and say “Excuse me you are impeached because I don’t care for you. I’ll be taking over now, thank you.”
Nice journalism though. Really well thought out and intelligent.
yes indeed!
and let’s not forget how UPSTANDING the EU & other world leaders are…
leave the assigning of moral judgment to God.
If you stupid americans would give the god BS a rest, then you’d have a lot more time to think about what YOU could do.
AGREED.
“stupid americans” – nothing like a good generalization unless you are only referring to the stupid ones… then this should be phrased and qualified… the stupid americans among you… government is one thing, and people are another. many of us have been pushing and pushing so that corporations cannot do whatever they want; for enlisting environmental forms of energy; for peace. generalizations are not so intelligent in and of themselves… That said this is really bad news. My heart is sinking.
It was my impression that an was referring to the ones who believe in a god, ie the stupid ones.
god isn’t real you nut
Denial is a sign of guilt. Funny, because while I am an American citizen born and raised, I don’t feel the slightest bit guilty for any of this, nor do I feel any need to defend myself against what the author says concerning those who should look in the mirror. My conscience is clean. Instead of being one of the mindless idiots he is referring to, I did all of the research into the problems of society which have led us to this mess, and made my knowledge freely available to all who would listen: no one listened. Idiots, you deserve what you are getting. I won’t be getting it, because I’m not there…
“But to their greatest enemy the Americans need look no further than their nearest mirror as they are the ones who allowed these monsters to rule over them in the first place.”
Very funny when BP stands for British Petroleum ;)
So take a long look in a mirror yourself !
BTW:I’m sure you never drive a car or have no use for any oil…
Also If God was “real” there wouldn’t be any
Canadians he dosen’t make mistakes :-D
no just your parents did with you!!She should of swallowed
:!: hey this is a dscussion about the oil, k jackoff? leave your imature comments on some other life wasting website! jeeze, kids these days.
This entire “article” is a scam. The source is Sorcha Fall, a.k.a. David Booth. Some of the article is plagiarized from Wikipedia, of all places, and the rest seems to be just made up.
This BP Cluster Fuck of the Century is indeed a mega-disaster and throwing toxic dispersants only tries to conceal the problem, but David Booth only wants to sell his book.

Dear Sir,
I am the ceo of Magaum oil and gas Nigeria.
We are into export and import of oil.
If you are interested in Buying do let us know.
We will like to do business with you.
Thanks,
Kenneth Uba.
The American public has been complaining about their government for DECADES, but they seem to refuse to believe that their individual representatives are part of the problem. They keep re=electing the same idiots that have caused all the problems for all those decades.
It IS the American voter’s fault that the gov’t is the way it is. But the problem is deeper still, really.
The people have turned their backs on their Creator and gone their own ways, and He has left them to their own devices. Only a general repentance and return to HIS way has a hope of turning things around. And the time to make the turn is growing shorter – perhaps only a few months left to avoid the Apocalypse.
:-x You haven’t ever voted for any of these CorpGovLLC candidates for President? Have you been active in trying to stop unsafe CorpGovLLC offshore drilling? Please help me understand how you along with myself and others are innocent?
It’s not a matter of who you voted for; whether or not you believe that Obama represents any oil interests (and I’m not saying he is or isn’t), you can’t tell me with a straight face that McCain isn’t thoroughly sewn into their pockets.
You asked what, exactly, you were supposed to do? Easy. Consume less. The oil industry has its power because Americans are addicted to cheap energy, making it impossible for any well-intentioned politician to advocate the least bit of belt-tightening. The massive scale of oil consumption, helped along by every one of us with everything we’ve ever bought, is what constitutes their profits. Buying less is what, exactly, we were supposed to do. We’re all guilty.
