A new bill is being rushed through parliament, with only a handful of MPs voting against it. First it was our cars, now it’s our houses… The 446 page Energy Bill currently before the UK House of Commons which covers many areas of energy production, storage and usage also provides for ‘the creation of criminal offences’, possibly including jail time or fines of £15,000 , where there is ‘non-compliance’... 

The changes are called Max and Keira’s Law, after a boy who received a heart transplant from a girl who was fatally injured in a car accident. It turns on its head the previous system, under which a person had to “opt in”, i.e. to give consent to donate their organs.
