Russia's highest court designates 'international LGBT movement' an Extremist organization
The Russian Supreme Court has ruled that the “international LGBT movement” is an extremist organization that is no longer allowed to exist in Russia.
In a closed hearing attended only by representatives of Russia’s Justice Ministry, the Russian Supreme Court heard a motion originally filed on Nov. 19 challenging the allowance of the international LGBT movement in Russia.
