Peru's President Pardons Former Dictator Fujimori

Just six days after he narrowly dodged impeachment on corruption charges, Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski pardoned former Peruvian dictator Alberto Fujimori of Japanese descent, who ruled the country from 1990 to 2000. Fujimori was deposed in a soft coup in 2000 when the government turned against him, and in 2007 he was sentenced to six years in prison for ordering illegal searches and seizures....
