2 More Countries Reject UN Migration Pact: Latvia and Lithuania

On 6 December, the Latvian Parliament (Saeima) has voted to reject the signing of the United Nations Global Compact for Migration. The debate was lengthy but Saeima, having been given autonomy over the decision in the cabinet, voted 43 to 31 to reject signing the Compact.
