Two men in custody in Knoxville double murder investigation

Police are questioning two brothers who were taken into custody Thursday in connection to the murders of a UT student and her boyfriend. A third man is also being questioned in Kentucky. The woman was was carjacked, gang-raped for days and killed. The victims were both white but the police is not considering to charge the criminals of hate crimes. Gangester arrested while on probation in Knoxville officer shooting

Tony R. Dixon, a teenager who was given nine years of probation in the shooting of a Knoxville police officer, has been arrested on a charge of attempted aggravated burglary. Dixon testified against Cleven J. Johnson in the May 2008 wounding of Knoxville Police Officer Norman Rickman. Johnson was sentenced to 40 years in prison.
