USA to treat Chinese news agencies as 'foreign agents, fake news'
The Department of State previously announced it would designate five media outlets as “foreign missions” and brand their employees as agents of the Chinese government. The list includes the Xinhua News Agency, China Global Television Network, China Radio International, China Daily Distribution Corporation, and Hai Tian Development USA.
