Algeria shuts down internet and Facebook as protest mounts

Algerian protesters chant slogans during a demonstration in Algiers. Internet providers were shut down and Facebook accounts deleted across Algeria on Saturday as thousands of pro-democracy demonstrators were arrested in violent street demonstrations.
