The well-known Canadian singer Celine Dion has spoken out about her recent, very significant health problems. The 54-year-old revealed to her admirers that she suffers from a rare, incurable neurological disorder that causes her muscles to spasm violently. Celine developed her health issues shortly after she received the COVID vaccine but of course nobody wants to make an association between the two.
“Recently, I’ve been diagnosed with an extremely uncommon neurological illness called stiff person syndrome, which affects one in a million individuals,” Dion said in an emotional Instagram post she shared on Thursday.
The famous person admitted that although she had been observing symptoms for a while, she had just lately discovered what was causing them. Dion said, “Sometimes causing issues when I walk and not enabling me to use my vocal chords to sing the way I’m used to,” regarding how muscular spasms impair her daily routines.
She regretfully revealed that she will be unable to resume her February 2019 European tour due to her illness.
Dion added that she would now completely concentrate on improving her health in the hopes of taking the stage once more in the future.
She informed her followers, “I’m working hard every day with my sports medicine therapist to regain back my strength and my ability to perform again.
When she postponed a number of North American concerts in March and April, the singer gave her first indication that she could be experiencing health problems back in January.
The course of stiff person syndrome can be slowed down by therapy even if the disorder is incurable.
Dion is a Canadian musical artist who has sold more than 200 million records worldwide, making her one of the most successful musicians of all time. Since she started her career in the early 1980s, she has won five Grammy Awards.
