An Israeli minister now wants to do as in the Old Testament and cut off the foreskins of enemy people and take them as trophies.
Shlomo Karhi, Israel’s communications minister, expresses his desire in a high-profile post on social media.
In the post, the minister recalls that, according to the Book of Samuel, David killed 200 Philistines – the Jews’ then mortal enemies in the area – and gave their cut off foreskins as a dowry to King Saul.
This Old Testament example should now be followed, according to the minister.
According to Shlomo Karhi, the foreskins of the “Nazi terrorists” who have now attacked Israel must be “cut off” before there can be talk of any peace or any pause in the blood revenge that Israel is currently carrying out in Gaza.
Tzipi Navon, chief of staff to Prime Minister Sara Netanyahu, has previously gone a step further than Shlomo Karhi. She has demanded that Hamas members not only have their foreskins – but their entire genitalia – cut off and then forced to eat them. This after they were tortured and smeared with “pork fat” and had their nails and skin torn from their bodies.
