Finland to Secure Border with Russia after Moscow Chooses to Facilitate Muslim Immigration Wave

Russia has changed its policy and is now letting through illegal immigrants who want to get to the Nordic countries via Russian territory. Now Finland is charging for a wave of immigrants from the Arab world.

Finnish Yle reports on increased activity on social media where people in posts written in Arabic are offered a way to Finland from Turkey via Russia.

We must take this seriously and protect the security of our border, says Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo.

According to Finnish authorities, Russia has changed its policy and is now letting through illegal immigrants who want to reach the border with Finland.

“Secure”, my ass… So far they’ve only blocked the southern entrances but continue accepting immigrants further north. They will take a little longer to get here but mostly what it does is is annoy dual citizen Finnish people living near the border that now can’t get across to Russia.
