No encryption, no safety…. imagine doing everything online without any encryption. This is going to become a hacker’s paradise. Everything you owe will be stolen, your money, identity, everything. Hackers are all rubbing their hands at the sight of such dumb news.
EU people who are pushing such low-IQ ideas should be sent to work in the fields as peasants. There is no place for them in the EU parliament if they are so dumb to not understand basic internet stuff but yet issue their handicapped low-IQ opinions on it of what should be done and what should not be done and so on and so forth.
Are these dumb animals some kind of scientists, programmers, technicians? Do they have any kind of technological knowledge at all? Of course not, they are just dumb low-IQ peasants yet they they think they can meddle in the fields of technology and how it should be like. Jesus Christ… why do we even need “leaders”???
Why do the “masses” need to be led by a select few morons?? Now in 2023? Maybe it would be for the best to rewrite the whole functionality of humankind and erase the idea of politicians, leaders, presidents and all that. Either we get capable leaders in all fields at this point or no leaders at all.
They want this for wiretapping of the plebeians but you simply can’t wiretap the internet without destroying it completely. Its just something these old morons that rule over us need to understand.
There was no decision on Chat Control 2.0 in the Riksdag’s EU Committee on Friday, but the controversial bill is still getting closer to being introduced.
Several demonstrations took place in Stockholm this weekend against Chat Control – the EU’s latest legislative package against internet privacy.
Among other things, the proposal means that platforms may only offer their users end-to-end encryption, i.e. interception-proof communication, if they simultaneously make it possible to spy on users through so-called back doors.
Ahead of Friday’s meeting in the EU committee, Chat Control was removed from the agenda since the EU’s presidency, Spain, did the same. The legislation is not to be considered at the Council of Ministers meeting next week, but the item will now be scheduled for later instead.
The Journalists’ Association, the Bar Association and a wide range of security experts, researchers and experts have protested against the introduction of the new law, which is said to be aimed at combating child abuse.
Despite such a good reasoning behind the plan to ban encryption, if you do ban encryption you can basically shut down the internet altogether. The internet simply cannot function without encryption.
