A Syrian migrant was arrested after multiple men sexually assaulted at least seven girls at a public pool in Germany this week, according to reports.
The disturbing incidents unfolded on Sunday and Monday in Stuttgart.
Seven females ranging between 12 and 18 years old say they were groped and molested by male suspects at Inselbad, a swimming and recreation facility.
“At around 4:45 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, two 18-year-old women were in the family pool at the outdoor pool when a group of young men kept swimming past them,” BILD reports.
“A 13-year-old and an unknown person are said to have touched the women’s bottom. The 13-year-old was taken away and later handed over to his mother.”
Later that day, two men in their early 20s reportedly cornered a 12-year-old girl and began grabbing her genitals.
Both of the men were arrested following the attack, one of whom was identified as a 23-year-old Syrian migrant. Information about the other suspect has not been made public.
On Monday, four girls between the ages of 12 and 15 were sexually assaulted at Inselbad by four men in their 20s.
A 29-year-old male was arrested and police were still seeking the others on Wednesday, according to the latest available updates.
No details about the suspects have been made public.
