Three members of a family were attacked by a group of Syrian ‘youths’ aboard a train in Germany this week, according to reports.

The shocking incident unfolded at around 1:30 p.m. on Monday in the capital city of Berlin.

An “aggressive trio” began menacing a 47-year-old woman and two men, ages 26 and 52, in a carriage of an S-Bahn tram, Berliner Zeitung reports.

Witnesses say the ‘youths’ suddenly began punching the woman in the head, knocking her unconscious.

The two men were also beaten and suffered facial injuries.

The suspects fled at the Frankfurter Allee stop, but one of them dropped a cell phone, which was recovered by authorities.

Later that day, unidentified persons turned up at a police station to recover device, at which point the Syrians were named as suspects.

Despite being described as “youths” and “adolescents” by Berliner Zeitung, they are actually adults aged 18 and 19 years old.

An investigation is ongoing.
