A recent report has brought to light the intricate connections between the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and a network of private-sector entities involved in the production and distribution of vaccines and healthcare products. The Public Good Projects (PGP), a non-profit organization dedicated to public health, is one of the primary players in this network. PGP claims to run “large-scale monitoring programs, social and behavior change interventions,” but in reality, it functions as a fascist public-private operation aimed at suppressing any criticism of vaccines and silencing dissenting voices.
During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, PGP engaged in mass censorship by de-platforming doctors and medical professionals who attempted to raise awareness about the potential dangers of COVID-19 vaccines. According to the Tennessee Department of Health, PGP partners include Kaiser Permanente, Rockefeller, and Humana, in addition to the CDC and FDA. PGP’s CEO, Dr. Joe Smyser, has close ties with these organizations.
What makes PGP’s funding unique is that it does not receive money from industry lobbyists. Instead, major industry players such as Pfizer and Moderna, both of which have a significant stake in promoting vaccine adoption, directly fund PGP. This financial relationship ensures that PGP remains aligned with the interests of these companies, who stand to benefit from suppressing any opposition to their products.
The New York City Health Department’s Misinformation Response Unit (MRU) also contributes to PGP’s funding. PGP operates a program called Shots Heard, which has similar goals to other initiatives such as the United Nations Verified Initiative, the Vaccine Confidence Project, and Team Halo. All of these groups are focused on silencing vaccine critics and ensuring that the public maintains faith in vaccines.
One example of PGP’s tactics in action involves Dr. Mary Talley Bowden, a Stanford-educated physician who questioned the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines and promoted the use of ivermectin on social media platforms like Twitter and TikTok. Social media influencers like Zachary Rubin and Christina Kim, both members of Team Halo, targeted Bowden and called for her medical license to be revoked. Shots Heard member Savannah falsely accused Bowden of xenophobia and racism for mentioning that many of the anti-ivermectin pharmacists she encountered were of Asian descent. Bowden’s online accounts were suspended, and she received numerous fake negative reviews on her career pages, which impacted her reputation.
As Bowden’s situation illustrates, the PGP network is extremely effective at suppressing dissenting voices and bullying those who question the mainstream narrative about vaccines. It is up to individuals to push back against this oppression and stand up for their right to free speech and independent thought.
