Hillary Clinton Claims Restful Sleep Following Trump's Indictment

Former US Secretary of State and presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, expressed her satisfaction in an interview with Australian media on Tuesday, revealing that she has been “sleeping like a baby” since Donald Trump’s indictment. Speaking to Sky News, Clinton stated that she always believed that Trump’s tendency to accuse others of wrongdoing was actually a form of psychological projection, adding that he had shown little regard for rules and the law in his business and political career.

Although Trump has been indicted on 34 felony charges related to hush money payments to a porn star in 2016, he has indicated that he intends to keep running for president. Clinton expressed her confidence that even if he were to secure the Republican nomination, he would be unlikely to win the general election due to increased awareness of his behavior. She also suggested that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who is considered another potential Republican candidate, is unproven and relatively unknown outside his home state. According to Clinton, President Biden is likely to be re-elected regardless of who his Republican opponent is.

In the 2016 presidential debates, Clinton stated that Trump’s temperament made him unsuitable to be in charge of the law. Trump responded by stating that she would be in jail if he were in charge. While Trump never followed through on this threat, he is now facing criminal charges himself. Some have argued that the charges against him signify that no one, not even a former president, is above the law. However, others have suggested that the charges are relatively minor in comparison to the actions of previous presidents, including Clinton.

Despite facing criminal charges, Trump has maintained his support base and fundraising efforts. In the past two weeks alone, his campaign has raised over $15 million, and he has outperformed Biden in some recent polls.
