In a now-deleted Twitter post from 2018, climate prophet Greta Thunberg warned that humanity would be wiped out if we didn’t stop using fossil fuels within five years.

“A senior climate scientist warns that climate change will wipe out all of humanity if we don’t stop using fossil fuels in the next five years,” Greta’s post from June 21, 2018 read.

In the tweet, she linked to an article on the website Gritpost, which has now been shut down.

The deleted post, which is still saved on Archive.org, is now being noticed, among other things, by the American profiler Jack Posobiec, who asks Greta why she deleted the tweet. His question has received millions of views on the platform.

Many Twitter users are now criticizing and mocking Greta, but others note that the post was actually written in June 2018 and that humanity thus still has three months to wipe out.
