A 20-year-old Chilean citizen has been detained on probable cause on suspicion of, among other things, kidnapping and aggravated rape of a child after the police raided an apartment in Skogås in southern Greater Stockholm on Friday. A minor girl is said to have been held captive by the man for two days.
It was after the police raided an apartment on Vallhornsvägen in Huddinge municipality that four people were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the mess.
Three of the people were released but are still suspected of, among other things, being protected by a criminal. The police suspect 20-year-old Benjamin Flores Tilleria, a citizen of Chile, of kidnapping, aggravated rape of a child and aggravated weapons offences.
On Monday, the Södertörn district court decided to arrest Flores Tilleria on probable cause on suspicion of the crimes.
Arrested for rape
Flores Tilleria has previously appeared in the charge register for vandalism, several drug offenses and illegal use.
According to Aftonbladet , Flores Tilleria has previously been investigated for sexual crimes against children. According to the newspaper, he was suspected of child rape in 2020 and was also then in custody, but the suspicions were dismissed due to lack of evidence.
