Three vocational high school students mourn their homeroom teacher. They are addressed to our RTL journalist Klaus Felder. One of them said in tears: “Madame K. was a great teacher, the best in the whole school”. They can’t believe what happened.
Suspect Sinan B. (typical Turkish and Arabic name) reportedly had problems at school. This was confirmed by the prosecution in a press release. According to information from RTL West, the defendant is a German with an immigrant background.
The 17-year-old’s recurring conflicts with teachers reportedly culminated on Tuesday morning (January 10) in a one-day dismissal, which was reportedly handed down by the school management. This is what the first hearings of witnesses would have revealed.
On Tuesday afternoon, the suspect allegedly attacked and killed his homeroom teacher, who was reportedly alone in the classroom at the time, we learned. According to the prosecution, the defendant, aged 17, has not spoken so far on the facts.
