The aggressive Turks in Azerbaijan are in big trouble as more and more Western countries begin to side with Armenia and threaten Azerbaijan with sanctions and severe repercussions for their aggressive war against Armenia. Armenians are desperately calling on social media for the West to step up its game and start supporting Armenia like they are doing with Ukraine. However there is a problem with that……. Armenia is a member of Russia’s crappy military alliance CSTO. Armenia is a friend of Russia not a friend of the West or NATO… so their support will be limited.
Ukraine was the opposite of Armenia. Ukraine was pro-NATO, anti-Russia! If Armenia wants full NATO support against the Azeri evil demons, it must first distance itself from Russia and leave CSTO.
What is the benefit of being in CSTO anyway??? NONE! First, they do not have an article like NATO, saying “an attack on one is an attack on all and all are forced to respond”, secondly, the president of Armenia just begged Putin to help him and send the Russian Army to protect Armenia against the invader.
Guess what happened!? Putin refused to help Armenia but this is somewhat understandable due to 2 reasons. Reason number 1 is Russia simply can’t help anyone at this point as its army is being decimated in Ukraine. It is simply not capable of fighting on two fronts. The second reason is Russia is also a friend of Azerbaijan. Both countries are former former Soviet states.
Russia is falsely believed by some idiots in the world to be some sort of “moral devout Christian country” so theoretically, Russia should side with Armenia as Armenia is a Christian country and not just A Christian country but in fact THE FIRST Christian country in the world. Azerbaijan is Turkish, Muslim.
You will see the terrorist Islamic sultan Erdogan of Turkey voicing unconditional support for Azerbaijan in the coming days. You will see… and as you can see, Russia doesn’t care about Armenia and its Christianity. Armenia is on its own but not for long. Being an ally of Russia is yet again showing itself to be USELESS! In the end it will be NATO who will save Armenia and not Russia.
