Blenderbot, a new AI-driven chatbot from Facebook owner Meta, definitely did not turn out the way the firm had hoped. According to the Jerusalem Post, among other things, the robot started “talking sh*t” about its CEO Mark Zuckerberg and said that Jews “control the economy” in the United States.
Blenderbot remembers previous interactions and gets information from the internet, in contrast to rule-based chatbots of the kind that are commonly used in customer service departments of businesses. The robot grows its own artificial intelligence in this way.
However, the Wall Street Journal reports that the robot immediately started to raise doubts about a number of problems that are considered sacred cows by the American elite. The robot asserted, among other things, that Jews run the economy there and that Donald Trump had won the election for president.
The bot described Meta’s CEO and owner Mark Zuckerberg as “creepy and manipulative” in an email to an Insider reporter. According to Newsweek, the robot also questioned the morality of some of Zuckerberg’s business dealings.
