The police and the public prosecutor continue to investigate the case of the killed Tabitha. “We are still relatively at the beginning,” says Aniello Ambrosio, chief public prosecutor and spokesman for the Stuttgart public prosecutor’s office of the “Ludwigsburger Kreiszeitung”.

The home of the 35-year-old suspect had already been searched on Saturday. The man was provisionally arrested; a magistrate executed the arrest warrant against him on Sunday. The arrested person is a 35-year-old Syrian national, the police said. He is said to have exercised his right to remain silent during the interrogation.

Tabitha is said to have known the suspect

The 17-year-old Tabitha is said to have known the suspect. The neighbor of the 35-year-old reported this to the ” Bild ” newspaper. Accordingly, the pensioner observed that Tabitha is said to have visited the suspect more often.

The pensioner tells the newspaper: “It’s been like this for a year. We thought the Syrian was much younger, especially since he has had teenagers with him in the past. He was taken away by the police on Saturday. We thought it was a drug thing because it always smelled so funny coming out of his open windows.”
