Armed African Groups Battling Each other on the Streets of France, then Turn on the Police

This Monday, May 9, a dozen individuals clashed with hammers and knives in the heart of Grenoble. Policemen were the target of projectiles.

A tragedy narrowly avoided. It was 7:30 p.m. when a national police team went to 10 avenue la Bruyère. On the spot, a dozen individuals wishing to do battle then turned against the police.

Arrived at the place of the report, the police officers note that certain individuals are armed with hammers and knives.

The facts that take place in the Villeneuve district concern 10 people visibly present to confront each other.

“10 African-like individuals”

According to the first information from the police services, the ten individuals would be “of African type”. As soon as the police arrived, their enemies were no longer the same.

The agents on the spot are attacked by about seven individuals who throw projectiles at them. The crew then decides to use tear gas.

One of the men present is arrested for contempt, rebellion and death threat against a law enforcement officer.
