The Hechingen public prosecutor’s office and the Balingen Criminal Police Office have been investigating a 24-year-old employee of a security company since Monday afternoon.
The man is accused of sexually abusing two children in the arrival center for Ukrainian refugees in Meßstetten.
The suspect is now in custody.
According to initial investigations, the 24-year-old is said to have harassed and immorally touched two girls aged 6 and 7 in the accommodation in the afternoon.
The children then revealed themselves to their mothers, who informed the management of the security service.
The security employee was provisionally arrested in the course of the afternoon.
The 24-year-old Afghan national was brought before the magistrate at the Hechingen District Court on Tuesday afternoon.
This issued the arrest warrant requested by the Hechingen public prosecutor’s office and implemented it. The criminal investigations are ongoing.
