Yesterday, Moscow propaganda antennas were shot down in Transnistria. Such propaganda broadcasting techniques were used since the Soviet times, to brainwash the Moldovans into becoming communists. They were broadcasting radio from Transnistria (which had a different name back then, Moldavian ASSR) into Moldova. Here is from Wikipedia: On 30 October 1930, from an improvised studio in Tiraspol, started broadcasting in Romanian language a Soviet radio of 4 kW whose main purpose was the anti-Romanian propaganda to Bessarabia between Prut and Dniester. In the context in which a new radio mast, M. Gorky, built in 1936 in Tiraspol, allowed a greater coverage of the territory of Moldova, the Romanian state broadcaster started in 1937 to build Radio Basarabia, to counter Soviet propaganda. The destruction of these antennas is a great thing, so applauses to whoever did it.

The so-called Transnistrian “authorities” have said that it was Ukraine who shot the antennas down while Moldovan president from Chisinau accused Transnistrian saboteurs who are trying to stir things up in order to engulf the region into war.

We don’t know for sure who did it because Chisinau has no access in Transnistria whatsoever, they couldn’t possibly know who was behind the attacks, their declarations are just assumptions which have no basis in evidence while the so-called “authorities” in Tiraspol are pro-Russia liars and if it was Transnistrian saboteurs, of course they would never admit the truth.

So we don’t really know who was behind yesterday’s attacks but what we know is that today Transnistria was attacked again so at this point it is kind of safe to assume that Ukraine is trying to invade Transnistria. Telegram channels are reporting it as such, saying that Ukrainian forces have now attacked Transnistria with drones and they will continue to pound Transnistria, hoping to do to Tiraspol exactly what Russia did to Mariupol. Not more, not less but exactly just that! And that’s not even condemnable…. After all, why not??? It is a Russian city within the reach of Ukraine. Revenge ohhh sweet revenge…

Just look at what the Russians did in Mariupol. And Mariupol’s mayor declared that Russia slaughtered 20,000 civilians just in Mariupol alone, so these UN figures saying that only 2345 civilians died in all of Ukraine? UN numbers are bollocks!

Now regarding the attacks of today on Transnistria, RT reported:

Several shots were fired from across Ukraine’s border with Transnistria into the territory of the self-proclaimed republic and in the direction of a huge arms depot, its interior ministry said on Wednesday. Two drones were also sighted in the area.

“At 8:45 in the morning on April 27, shots were fired from Ukrainian territory in the direction of Kolbasna village,” the ministry’s statement reads. Transnistrian officials said that no casualties had been reported as a result.

In a separate incident preceding the alleged shooting on Wednesday, “several drones were spotted over the village of Kolbasna” overnight, according to the ministry. The Transnistrian authorities also claim that the drones “had been launched into Transnistrian territory from Ukraine.”

Since the forced Russian-speaking region became de facto independent from Moldova following a war in 1992, Russian illegal occupiers have been stationed there, sent from Moscow.

Speaking to Russia’s Interfax media outlet, the Russian contingent’s representative described the situation in the village as “calm,” adding that “several shots were fired from an assault rifle on Ukrainian territory.”

Earlier on Wednesday, a local media outlet reported “shots in the vicinity of an arms depot near Kolbasna village.”

Here is a photo of the Kolbasna (or Cobasna in Moldovan) ammo depot, the largest of its kind in all of Europe:

The Russians stored all this ammo here in Transnistria in case Moldova ever wanted to return to Romania and they refused to remove both their ammo and their military from Transnistria. Today, Ukrainians are seeking to capture it for their use against Russia.

And now here’s RT laying out a case as saying that in fact the entirety of Moldova should be theirs. These people just won’t stop, they are imperialists! We are going to use parts from RT and below them we will add our own commentary:

RT: The unrecognized territory, formally part of Moldova, was formed as a result of a short war, which was simultaneously absurd and cruel. That war contains many parallels with the current conflict – including even the personal stories of many of its participants.

EUT: The war wasn’t absurd. Transnistria tried to separate itself from Moldova. Moldova tried to stop them but they failed after Russia sent the 14th army from Moscow. Moldova was defeated and it accepted the current situation in which is now but if its absurd to stop a region from seceding then why didn’t Russia allow Chechnya from seceding???? Why did they fought against the separatists? But you see guys? Russians are immoral, they have no moral character. They will always be biased and unfair.

RT: In 1992, a conflict raged there for several months, when rebels made up of Russians and Ukrainians took up arms against the government of the newly independent Moldova. Despite its very small scale, this war became a kind of prologue for the entire bloody history of post-Soviet armed conflicts.

EUT: Not true. Chechnya was way bloodier and Russia’s attack on Georgia to create fake regions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia were also bloodier. Yes Ukrainians did ally with the Russians back then but this is for the last time in history as Ukraine will eternally HATE Russia after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022!

RT: Transnistria became part of Russia during the imperial era of the Romanov dynasty. The wars between Saint Petersburg and the Ottoman Empire brought the Russian Empire vast expanses of land north of the Black Sea. Under Catherine II, the border passed just along the banks of the Dniester River, and it was then that the future capital of Transnistria, the town of Tiraspol, was built. A decade and a half later, Russia recaptured Bessarabia from the Turks – the eastern part of the ancient Moldavian principality, whose territory formed the basis of present-day Moldova.

EUT: What they said here about Transnistria is true. What they said about Bessarabia is also partially true but also false. After a battle between Russia and Turkey, Turkey ended up separating Moldova in 2 halves and giving the eastern half to Russia. The term used by RT is factually WRONG. “recaptured Bessarabia from the Turks”. There was no “recapture”. This time, in 1812, it was THE FIRST TIME, the first capture of it, it was not a “recapture” as if it previously belonged to them or something. This is also the first time in history that Moldova was split in 2. It was never split before. Before this, it was always 1 single principality. Turkey gave half of Moldova to Russia because Moldova was a vassal, BUT INDEPENDENT state of Turkey.

RT: These lands lived more or less peacefully as part of the Russian Empire. The roots of the current problem stretch back to the events of 1917. As a result of the Russian Revolution and Civil War, Moldova became part of Romania, but Transnistria remained with the Soviet Union. The USSR assumed the implicit role of collector of Russian imperial lands, and Transnistria was singled out as a Moldovan autonomous region for political purposes. Following the events of World War II, Moldova was annexed by the USSR, and Transnistria was included in its composition.

EUT: These lands lived more or less peacefully as part of the Russian Empire. NOT TRUE, 100% false information. Prior to Russia conquering half of Moldova in 1812, Moldova was always a free and independent country, but here is where RT is making the case as “Ohhh Moldova was always Russian.” No it wasn’t! Then they go on saying that “The roots of the current problem stretch back to the events of 1917. As a result of the Russian Revolution and Civil War, Moldova became part of Romania”. Yes that is true, while Russia was busy with the communist revolution, the eastern occupied part of Moldova quickly seceded from Russia and joined the other half of Moldova which was now united with Wallachia and formed Romania. Why shouldn’t they go and unite with their fellow countrymen? What they also omit here is that the other half of Moldova which survived as independent after 1812 splitting, under the Moldovan leader Alexandru Ioan Cuza, decided to unite the independent half of Moldova with Wallachia, another Romanian principality, in the year of 1859. This was done as both principalities saw that they were trapped between 3 evil empires, all stealing more and more land from them, to the West, the Austrian Empire, the south the Ottoman Empire and to the East the Russian Empire. If Alexandru Ioan Cuza had control over the entirety of Moldova, then the entirety of Moldova would have united with Wallachia but sadly, the Eastern part of Moldova, was being busy being Russified by the Russians, so he untied with Wallachia what he had under his control. As you can see in the map below, poor Romania being trapped in the middle of 3 evil empires.

Romania in 1859
Romania in 1859 after the union between western half of Moldova (north) and Wallachia (south).

Like a horror story from movies with vampires, its a miracle this country even survived being sandwiched between these empires. Prior to Russia splitting Moldova in two in 1812, here is how it looked like in 1782 by Italian cartographer G Pittori:

Italian map of Moldova and Wallachia from 1782 by G Pittori

Why should Moldova be split in 2? Why should one half belong to Russia? Because crazy Russia said so? These people are insane. As for Transnistria, yes that was never a Moldovan territory, even though it was inhabited by Moldovans for many years, historically speaking, the territory never belonged to Moldova. That was a communist invention, a tumor so to say, attached by the bolsheviks to Moldova in order to assert control over Moldova through that tumor known as Transnistria.

At the end of the above paragraph they said “Following the events of World War II, Moldova was annexed by the USSR, and Transnistria was included in its composition.” Yes it is true, eastern part of Moldova was yet again stolen from Romania by Russia in 1945. Hundreds of thousands of Moldovans were deported to Siberia or executed. Russian colonists were brought into the newly empty homes. Transnistria was included in Moldova’s composition, TRUE, but what they omit is that they included this little tumor in exchange for the stolen parts that were handed to Ukraine, North Bukovina and Moldova’s sea lands. In the North, Cernauti and Hotin belonged to Moldova since like forever, to the south Cetatea Alba, Izmail and Chilia. There are still many Moldovan fortresses and churches still standing there even today despite the regions being transferred to Ukraine. Moldovans living there, many managed to move to Romania while others were simply deported to Siberia. Ukraine has NO fault in this. It wasn’t Ukraine who stole these regions from Romania, it was Stalin and the Russians who stole them and gave them to Ukraine. Why? Because the Russians killed millions of Ukrainians during Stalin’s Holodomor and Ukrainians hated Russia so much that during World War 2, they allied with Nazi Germany and fought against Russia on Hitler’s side. The Ukrainians hated the Russians so much that the Russians wanted to pacify them by giving them vast lands from Romania, Poland, Czechoslovakia and even from themselves. In 1954 Nikita Khrushchev gave Crimea to Ukraine. Here’s from Wikipedia: After the death of Joseph Stalin in 1953, there was a shift in posture towards the other republics. In an attempt to reconcile the relationship with the Ukrainian SSR, Nikita Khrushchev, along with the other leadership of the Soviet Union, transferred the Crimean Oblast from the Russian SFSR to the Ukrainian SSR. Stalin could not reconcile even if he wanted. Ukraine hated him more than anything. Ukraine suffered greatly under Russian rule just like Moldova suffered greatly under Russian rule. Ukrainians were already justified in hating Russia but after the 2022 invasion, they will eternally hate Russia. Russia will never be capable of reconciling with Ukraine after this. Russia was so evil with them that they didn’t even offer 1 single day of ceasefire on Easter while self-proclaiming to be Christians. Yeah right, Christians in name only!

Translation: A man with a poster “Christ for Peace” was detained in the center of Moscow. Russian priests who bless rockets are ready to argue with this statement.

He didn’t say anything, he didn’t instigate to anything, all he said was “Christ for Peace”. Is Christ not for peace? Why arrest him for that? There you go, “Christian Russia” right here in one picture… anyway back to the RT article.

RT: The problem was that Transnistria was a very specific region for Moldova. Its economic structure was very different from the rest of the republic. Unlike agrarian Moldova, Transnistria was primarily an industrial area. Despite it accounting for just 17 percent of Moldova’s population and very small portion of its territory, by the late Soviet period, its industry provided 40 percent of the republic’s GDP and up to 90 percent of its electricity.

EUT: That’s because Moscow, when it invested into Moldova Soviet Republic, it ONLY invested into the Transnistrian region because the region was attached to Moldova as a tumor to keep Moldova under Russian control eternally. It is a miracle the evil bastards even mention the word electricity in this article. Moscow built 1 single power plant in Moldova and guess where they built it…. yes you guessed it, in the Transnistrian region. For years Russia gave and continues to give even to this day, FREE GAS to Transnistria’s Kuchurgan power plant to produce electricity. That electricity is then sold to Moldova for millions of dollars a year… very ethical of Russia!!! And yet here is another reason as to why Transnistria is a Russian cancerous tumor funded directly by Russia. Moldova should cut the Russian tumor and reunite with Romania. Romania has plenty of electricity. Moldova doesn’t need Transnistrian electricity. Moldova should stop funding Transnistria by buying electricity from them!

RT: Another major difference was in the region’s ethnic composition. The majority of the Moldovan population were Romanian-speaking Moldovans, related to the their neighbours in Bucharest. However, in Transnistria, the majority of the population was made up of Slavs – Russians and Ukrainians. For obvious reasons, Moldovan nationalism, which came with a revival of ties with Romania, did not find any support in Transnistria at all. In the industrial Russian-speaking and Slavic region, pro-Soviet views remained popular even during the crisis that led to the collapse of the USSR itself.

EUT: Yes true but again you forget that you attached this Transnistria cancerous tumor to Moldova in exchange for Moldova’s north Bukovina and south Budjak. It wasn’t Moldova who stole Transnistria. No, YOU attached it to Moldova in order to control it. Do not count on the Ukrainians living there as being yours or Russian or something. All Ukrainians worldwide HATE you Russians with a passion. In fact the entire planet hates you, you just don’t know it. Furthermore, there are only 29.1% Russians. Moldovans are 28.6% and Ukrainians 22.9% in Transnistria according to the 2015 census. Wanna bet that Moldovans would team up with Ukrainians in case of something? You Russians are alone in this. Nobody supports you anymore. Back in 1989 Moldovans were the majority in Transnistria: Moldovans: 39.9%, Ukrainians: 28.3%, Russians: 25.5%. Their numbers began to drop due to Russian oppression after they became independent in 1992. Both Moldovans and Ukrainians fled from Transnistria in vast numbers. In the 2004 census Ukrainians were overtaken by the Russians: Moldovans: 31.9%, Russians: 30.3%, Ukrainians: 28.8% while the Moldovans were still the majority and by 2015 as you saw in the above census, the Russians became from number 3 to number 1 majority ethnic group. Yeah this is how it is to live under Russian rule.

RT: Transnistria ceased to be a quiet picturesque corner of the USSR by about 1989, when Moldova was experiencing a surge of nationalism and ethnic romanticism. The leaders of the emerging state dismissed its Soviet past, on the one hand, but, on the other, were actually part and parcel of the Soviet intelligentsia, with its vague ideas about how states function in the West. Naturally, this also affected their views on how a nation that has just achieved statehood should build relations with its citizens.

The beliefs of these people ranged from sincere fanaticism to a desire to play the national card to score political points. They included, for example, Mircea Druk – who expressed nationalist convictions back in the heyday of the Soviet Union but was, in fact, a typical representative of the Soviet nomenklatura who revelled in the role of a privileged official. Another leader of the Moldovan independence movement, Mircea Snegur, was also originally a party careerist, but the collapse of the USSR opened the way for him to transform himself from an ordinary regional official into the leader of a small and poor, but separate state.

A separate problem was presented by the idea of reunifying with Romania, to which the Moldovans are close in blood and language. Though these views might have been popular in ‘native’ Moldovan society at that time, such a future was categorically unacceptable for Transdniestrians.

EUT: As you saw in the above census, back in 1989, Moldovans were the majority of Transnistria, accounting for 39.9% of the population but it was MOSCOW which didn’t care about the numbers or anything. Moscow did whatever it wanted to in order to stop Moldova from reuniting with Romania. Its not like they had a referendum in Transnistria over being independent. No, it was just Moscow sticking its tail in Transnistria, agitating things, threatening Moldovans “If you reunite with Romania, you will do it without Transnistria.” Well how about they did it with Northern Bukovina and Budjak. Russia took something from Moldova, they gave something in exchange and now they want what they gave back also. Nice deal, very fair…

From there the article continues yapping about the Russians being afraid of being discriminated against so they wanted to separate… that’s just nonsense. Nobody would have discriminated anyone. All they wanted was for the Russian minority to integrate into the society because remember at the time, in 1989, Transnistria had a majority Moldovan, not Russian! In fact it turned out that the Russian minority oppressed the Moldovans as Romanian language is banned in Transnistria even in 100% Moldovan villages! Horror stories say that if Moldovans are heard speaking Romanian in public they are taken by the Russian police at the station, beaten and then released.

Normally speaking, Transnistria belongs to Moldova in its internationally recognized borders. It didn’t belong to Moldova, it was given to Moldova by the USSR but the same USSR took Northern Bukovina and Budjak from Moldova and borders should be respected as they are to avoid meaningless wars over land, this is not the 1800s! This is 2022!!!!! but given that we’re dealing with caveman Russia here which is obsessed with lands, as we said numerous times, just give them back their Transnistria and let them shove it you know where! Evacuate all the remaining Moldovans from Transnistria and get it over with. They are gonna come for it and take it by force anyway. Ukraine made the same mistake. It didn’t wanna give Donbas willingly and now the cavemen orcs are trying to take the entirety of Ukraine. Give them their Transnistria and reunite with Romania to avoid being taken entirely by Russia. Yes Moldova, we know its not fair but sadly there is nothing you can do about it, it is what it is and Russians are how Russians are…. you will never make Russians give up land just as you will never make a Russian integrate into a foreign society. You will never hear a Russian living in Germany saying “I am German”, you will never hear a Russian living in the United States say “I’m an American.” and you will never hear a Russian say “I am Moldovan or Romanian.” These people cannot, will not, EVER integrate.

Please wait...
