Moldova has turned down the “offer” to capture its breakaway region of Transnistria by force floated by Kiev, stating that it seeks to reintegrate the self-proclaimed republic only through political means.
“The settlement of the Transnistrian issue can be achieved by political means and only on the basis of a peaceful solution, excluding military and other forcible actions, as well as on the basis of the principles of democratization and demilitarization of the region, [and] respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Moldova,” the country’s office for reintegration told RIA Novosti on Wednesday.
The statement came in response to remarks made by Alexey Arestovich, an adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The official suggested the country was capable of “capturing” Transnistria should Chisinau formally request Kiev’s help in conquering the breakaway region.
“Yes, [we] would have managed somehow, but this is the territory of sovereign Moldova, [it could happen] only after the appeal of the Moldovan side,” he said.
Arestovich’s remarks garnered condemnation in Moscow as well, with Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov describing such statements as “quite provocative.”
Welp apparently Moldova was dropped on its head at birth or something. Reintegrate Transnistria into Moldova? What kind of mushrooms do these people consume? Transnistria isn’t being Romanianized, Transnistria is being Russified. Just take a look at the censuses.

Good luck with reintegration Moldova!
People need to understand that Russians are incapable of integrating in other societies. Even after 200 years, Russians in Transnistria will never speak Romanian and they will never consider themselves Moldovan. Russians are like Muslims, they will never integrate into societies of other foreign countries.
They will always be a cancerous tumor and if they are there in high numbers, any day they could request secession and union with Russia. Take a few millions to Texas and next thing you know it you will hear the Ruskies screaming for secession and uniting Texas with Russia. It is mean but it is true.
They are the only race of white people in this world who refuse to integrate everywhere they live, in USA, Canada, Germany, Italy, Greece, anywhere. They will always maintain their Russian culture, language, heritage, everything, EVEN IF they intermarry! It is best to just avoid taking Russians in your country.
Well who cares anymore? We’ve gave Moldova countless advises on what to do in our previous articles. If they don’t wanna listen, fine, whatever. They will loose Transnistria soon anyway as Russia will steal it and then we will just say: well we told you but you didn’t listen.
Perhaps Ukraine should just go ahead and do whatever it wants there without Moldova’s approval, after all Transnistria is an “independent country” on which Moldova only has imaginary control over!! So Ukraine? If you wanna have fun with Transnistria, you don’t need Moldova’s permission, remember Transnistria is an independent country.
