The Public Prosecution Service has demanded only 40 months in prison against a Yemeni web designer of an Antwerp non-profit organization for the double rape of two Dutch students who were doing an internship there. The facts took place after a party with a lot of alcohol. “When we couldn’t say ‘no’ anymore, you decided to abuse us.”
The story starts somewhere in 2019, when the Dutch students D. (20) and M (21) start their internship at the non-profit organization. During their internship, the spontaneous girls get to know Ibrahim O. (probably Omar), a refugee from Yemen who works as a web designer for the organization. The girls live in a room in Antwerp and after work they sometimes meet up with Ibrahim. “We were friends”, explained M. yesterday.
The last date of the two friends with their colleague dates from November 17, 2019. Ibrahim had been told that he was recognized as a refugee and that had to be celebrated. He prepared food, bought a large supply of drinks and went to the girls’ room in Berchem.
“They ate and drank together,” said Sanne De Clerck, lawyer for the Dutch students. “It was actually the intention to dance together. But the girls had clearly had too much to drink. M. did not feel well and had to vomit. And D. eventually fell asleep on the bed, sedated.”
Sedated
When D. wakes up from her intoxication from alcohol, she notices that Ibrahim is touching her vagina. He penetrates her with his finger. She tries to resist, but is still too numb. “I went into a stupor and then I woke up again. The memories of what happened are like flashes,” said D.
“When she wakes up for the umpteenth time, she sees that Ibrahim is assaulting her friend M. He is giving her oral sex. She calls out to Ibrahim: ‘What is happening here?’ Then she woke her friend from her sedated state. She had to hit herself in the face,” said master Sanne De Clerck. “Then they panicked and yelled at Ibrahim to leave the apartment. They called their parents to tell them what had happened to them. They then called the police and emergency services arrived. The girls were taken to the hospital in total distress.”
The girls explain that the friendly colleague Ibrahim has taken advantage of their drunkenness to assault them. The Public Prosecution Service finds these statements credible. “Given their drunken state, the D. and M. simply couldn’t give their consent anymore,” said master Sanne De Clerck. “D. and M. have never given their consent either. And when Ibrahim made advances during the party, he was rejected. Ibrahim has stripped these young women of their virginity. They were covered in blood after the fact, but Ibrahim admits that he removed the blood from his hands and clothes. Why did he erase the tracks? If he claims that there was consent, then that is totally implausible.”
“Too little concrete evidence”
Ibrahim O. told the police that he had not raped them because he had not ejaculated. “But that is also not true,” said the Public Prosecution Service. “Sperm traces were found on one of the girls’ slips. And an investigation has shown that the semen belonged to the defendant.”
The Public Prosecution Service demanded forty months in prison against Ibrahim O. According to his lawyer Davinia Simons, there is too little concrete evidence that her client is guilty of rape. “Maybe the girls agreed to have sexual relations, but later regretted it,” suggested master Simons, to the astonishment of the two girls and their families. “Isn’t it striking that they first called their parents and then the police?”
When Ibrahim O. himself spoke, it became too much for the victims. They fled the courtroom crying when they heard Ibrahim portray to the judge how he had sex with both girls. “But all I did was attend to their needs. I have never in my life hurt a woman, not in Yemen and not in Belgium. I am a good person.”
“Everything in my life is different”
Victim M. used her last strength to address the court. “How is it possible that we are still discussing permission or not. You had the choice to leave when we couldn’t say no anymore. You really chose to take advantage of the situation and assault us. Since that day, everything in my life has changed. It seems like I had to start all over again. I’ve lost faith in everyone around me, I’ve lost faith in myself. I worry all the time that I’m giving the wrong signals. My life should be colorful, but since that night everything in my life is gray. And I thought we were friends.”

This made me sick! And was there no DRUG TEST done this sounds way more like a date rape drug was used ESPECIALLY since the rapist is the one that supplied the food and drink!!!! Wtf I have read other stories similar and police say it’s too hard for them to test for date rape drugs! I’m not sure if they are too different in variety of drugs but they make like 20 panel tests? Either way the girls being that sedated seems extremely strange, I’m sure it wasn’t the girls first time drinking but it will be their last time drinking with a dirty filthy Arab who’s only desire is to attack white women which is why he did not choose africa as his vacation destination
