Nearly 1,000 migrants attempted to cross the English Channel during the busiest single day so far this year, according to reports.
At least 405 migrants who embarked in 12 vessels successfully reached Britain on Tuesday, most with the aid of U.K. Border Force.
Another 11 boatloads carrying 538 people were intercepted by French authorities, the Express and Star reports.
Photos and videos of the assisted invasion were shared on social media by local reporter Steve Laws.
“More illegal immigrants are arriving today. Looks like dinghy season is back in full swing,” Laws wrote during a new wave of arrivals on Wednesday.

“Yesterday in Dover, roughly 400-500 illegal immigrants were ferried in by the Border Force. As usual, they were picked up mid-Channel after being escorted by the French coast guard,” Laws told Infowars Europe on Wednesday. “The day started early with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution heading out twice from 3 a.m. and ended with HMC Seeker bringing in a massive influx of young, fighting-age men.”
“They were all processed in the new multi-million-pound facility before being driven off in luxury coaches to stay in four-star hotels. A further 200 illegal immigrants arrived today, and it’s estimated that at least 65,000 will arrive this year by boat.”
Well over 2,500 migrants have already crossed the English Channel so far this year, according to the U.K. Home Office.
More than 28,000 migrants reached England by boat in 2021, up from around 8,400 in 2020.
