A gruesome new pro-abortion bill proposed in California could legalize infanticide for weeks, months, or even years after a child is born, an attorney with the Thomas More Society told LifeSiteNews.
AB 2223 was introduced in February as a placeholder for future legislative language amid a raft of pro-abortion proposals advanced by lawmakers, following radically pro-abortion Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom’s promise to make California a “sanctuary” for abortion, Right to Life League reported.
On March 17, the bill’s authors submitted updated language to amend existing state laws.
Under the new language, a “person shall not be subject to civil or criminal liability or penalty, or otherwise deprived of their rights, based on their actions or omissions with respect to their pregnancy or actual, potential, or alleged pregnancy outcome, including miscarriage, stillbirth, or abortion, or perinatal death.”
Thomas More Society Special Counsel Charles LiMandri, a partner at LiMandri and Jonna LLP who earned his law degree at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., told LifeSiteNews in an email Saturday that the altered language would allow for “the brutal murder” of babies weeks, months, or even years “after they are born.”
According to LiMandri, the proposal “exposes the false narrative that the abortion lobby has been peddling for over half a century: That no one knows when life begins, and babies in their mothers’ wombs feel no pain. No sane person can deny that a newborn infant is a fully developed human being, one that is capable of feeling intense pain. Yet, by including ‘perinatal’ in its provisions, [the bill] would authorize the brutal murder of these infants even after they are born.”
LiMandri, an author and lecturer who has appeared and been published nationally and internationally, noted that the definition of the term “perinatal” varies, spanning weeks or even years after an infant is born.
He cited MedicineNet which puts the definition of “perinatal” at ending “1 to 4 weeks after birth,” as well as the government definition of the phrase via PubMed.gov, which states: “The perinatal period, broadly defined, encompasses the time frame from … 18 to 24 months after the birth of the child.”
“Hence, [AB 2223] leaves one to ask: ‘What kind of depraved monsters would justify the killing of innocent and helpless children between one week and two years after their birth?’” LiMandri said.
According to LiMandri, the radical legislative proposal “is beyond the pale for any civilized society to even consider, and must be aggressively opposed by all people of conscience who value human life.”
EVEN IF such a law does NOT pass, just look at the rot that is plaguing the American brain in 2022. The fact that someone came up with such an idea, tells us a lot about these people. This is not even about religion or politics, leftist vs rightist ideology. This is murder, this simply rottenness of the mind. This is the result of closing down most of the insane asylums by that vile monster Ronald Reagan in the 80s and today this is the result, literal psychopaths are now running free on the streets, becoming “politicians” and coming up with such laws.

Climate change is the problem behind the problem. Years ago I thought they would address it through technology, recycling, sustainable practices and legislation aimed at keeping our food and products local — not just because it produces less emissions to ship products shorter distances but because higher environmental standards for farming, oil production and other forms of manufacturing favor a cleaner world vs. the mass-offshoring that 1990s-era globalism mindlessly promoted.
But all that has come of climate change is a cover for tyrannical politicians and outright sociopaths. Expanding abortion suggests that abortion is not already legal/accessible. But why do they care so MUCH that people have an easier time putting an end to life? When Planned Parenthood was founded, its founder felt that it would reduce birthrates of minorities. Today’s version of a justification for extending abortion “rights” to infants is no doubt one part old-fashioned white supremacy and another part the belief that a child dead is a child who will not create a carbon footprint.
Look at anything and everything that seems to defy common sense: Criminal justice reform was supposed to be about low-level “victimless crimes”. Instead they are openly attempting to reduce and eliminate bail even for violent/repeat offenders. As the streets become unsafe more brown/black people die. Once again, the very people who say they are trying to practice “equity” are instead practicing DEATH. They couldn’t get away with this in the path. But over the years the public has been desensitized to insanity and, indeed, evil. Now they can take the battle on climate change and make of it the justification to do any number of anti-life things, not the least of which include attempts to mandate vaccines that do not stop COVID-19 transmission nor further the ultimate goal of “herd immunity” and mandate them not only to adults but to children for whom the risk of injury (myocarditis) is in some cases (boys, young men) greater than the risk of severe COVID-19 illness.
If none of this makes sense, it will make sense once one realizes that the Death Cult spawned by climate change is in charge of the levers of power. If they TRULY cared about climate change they would marshal every scientific resource they had along the lines of an Apollo Program or Manhattan Project. Instead they “mitigate” from the top down in a way that promotes poverty and rising inflation. They don’t care about us.
It’s time to call a spade a spade: Many of our leaders, particularly on the left, don’t have any respect for human life. They don’t care that more people are homeless. They don’t care that fentany flooding over their “open border” from China is claiming Vietnam war level losses of lives and is now the leading killer of people ages 18-45. They don’t care that people are depressed and unemployed. Everything they say they are doing, whether anti-racism, abortion rights or equity is actually the REAL white supremacy, even as they point the finger at everybody else.
Climate change is not imaginary — there is science behind it. But the Cult of Death that has arisen around it is now the larger threat to human civilization. Scientists who work in climate-related fields need must begin to appreciate that their science is merely a political tool of the left — it is distorted and abused not for the purpose of solving environmental problems but for the craven purpose of imposing a fascist global agenda.
Voters need to wake up and take back their respective local and national elections before it is too late.
Of course anthropogenic climate change is a hoax,just like the plandrmic …maybe you vould explain the changes in earths eccleptical orbit around the sun and how it can vary by millions of miles,or perhaps you could explain why the vikings were farming Greenland between the 9th and 12th centuries and why England had a Mediterranean climate in that time frame?..then you might try to explain why the river Thames would freeze over in the 16th century when there was a grand solar minimum which caused a mini ice age?….of course you can’t explain any of this if you believe the nonsense that you are fed by the lying media and politicians??

While California politicians are intentionally trying to anger some because of abortion stiffening, election and education bills which some conservative states have passed. While on the surface this appears to be a politically motivated response by California, make no mistake this is a spiritual problem at its root. As you said it is rottenness of heart and the level of depravity exposed is indeed a spiritual issue and clearly illustrates the increased influences those from the pit of hell are exerting upon unbelieving souls. Their action here is only a surface scratch upon the depths of human depravity. As the conscience of these people further erodes and if God in his anger chooses to remove His restraint from the hearts of men we’ll find there is evils mankind is capable of that we haven’t even imagined yet. glance cast at leftist ideology and every issue near and dear to their desolate souls stands in an obvious diametrically opposed to the things God has revealed as His created order and His law by which nations and individuals should conduct their lives in order to be blessed or as is the case here cursed.
