A 24-year-old man has died 10 days after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
Traian Calancea, an economics student and kickboxing trainer, got the shot on October 10th. He died on Wednesday, October 20th, from a cardiac arrest at his home.
Traian, of Moldovan origin, left both the Moldovan and Romanian communities dismayed, as well as his many Italian friends by his sudden death.
His mother Svetlana, who found him lifeless in the bathroom, is heartbroken after the sudden death of her son.
No one understands how Traian, who had no health issues, suddenly died from a cardiac arrest just 10 days after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
His best friend said: “There are no words to describe what I feel. I can’t really realize what happened, why you?
I will remember you with a smile, you deserve it. I loved you and I will always love you. Rest in peace.”
Traian first attended Leonardo Da Vinci scientific high school before going to university where he studied at the faculty of Economics and Commerce.
Until Wednesday, he worked and studied at the same time. The man was forced to take the vaccine in order to be allowed to work and continue his studies or else face exmatriculation.
His funeral will be held tomorrow in Trento at 2 pm.
