Singer Roberto Blanco, has called on the Mayor of Vienna to exhume Beethoven’s body for a racial DNA test according to a report by Classic FM.
The request is the latest in an over century old debate about the ethnicity of the German-born classical music giant. Beethoven died in Vienna in 1827, and Blanco addresses the city’s Mayor in a public YouTube video. He states his reasoning for the ask is ‘so that we can see if he looks more like you or me.’
Blanco, who is of Afro-Cuban origin, was born in Tunisia, before moving to Germany and becoming a singer in the early 50s.
The 84-year-old beloved singer has recorded multiple hit albums and appeared on a number of music variety shows.
While the question of Beethoven’s race has been in question for over a century, the theory regarding his ethnicity resurfaced in 2015.
A student-run Minnesota newspaper, The Concordian, had suggested a “white-washing” of the composer’s legacy, citing descriptions of the composer as having a “wide, thick-lipped mouth, short, thick nose, and proudly arched forehead”.
All the PORTRAITS you see on Wikipedia mean nothing to these Black supremacists who are in fact BLACKWASHING or should we say in fact Black Muddying because applying blackness certainly isn’t “washing” its more of muddying or dirtying.

None of these painters painted Beethoven as black. Let’s analyze just one painter, Joseph Karl Stieler and prepare to be shocked as just years after his paintings photo cameras became available so we can prove how good of painter he was.

Exhuming him and doing DNA tests on his bones would solve nothing as the blacks will then claim the tests were faked because you know, we’re “whitewashing”. If we dig deep into these matters we typically find the trumpeting black guy, woman, American Indian or whoever, has a Jewish presence funding and promoting them for an entirely different purpose. You know you sound bitter and a little racist to boot. If they find out that Beethoven has a significant amount of Black ancestry, it would probably destroy you and burst your bubble. There are also portraits and sculptures from that period that cast some doubt on your position. If she pays for the exhumation and DNA testing, who cares. If Roberto Blanco (translated as Bobby White) wants Beethoven dug up and have his dna tested, let him bear the full cost of the exhumation and testing. Send dna to three or four labs for testing and make the tests as blind as possible. He should bear the cost since no one else seems to care about the results. I am betting the corpse of Beethoven looks a lot like Blanco does today.
