Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in an interview with Le Figaro, reiterated his position that the Turkish army is leading a direct offensive by Azerbaijani units against Armenian ethnic forces around Nagorno-Karabakh. “The Turkish state, which continues to deny its past, is once again entering the genocide path,” he added. However, he did not provide evidence of Turkey’s alleged military involvement in the disputed region.
The presidents of France, Russia and the United States called on Thursday for an immediate ceasefire between Azerbaijan and Armenian forces around Nagorno-Karabakh. However, Turkey stated that the three countries should not engage in a ceasefire in the disputed region of the Caucasus, given that they had neglected problems there for around 30 years.
“The situation is much more serious. It would be more appropriate to compare it with what happened in 1915, when more than 1.5 million Armenians were murdered during the first genocide in the 20th century,” Pashinyan said in Le Figaro. “The Turkish state, which continues to deny its past, is once again entering the genocide path,” he added.
Pashinyan, without providing any evidence for his claims, said that Turkey had sent thousands of Syrian mercenaries to the Nagorno-Karabakh region, and that Turkish officers were directly involved in leading the Azerbaijani offensive.

“The world must be aware of what is happening here,” said Pashinyan. “Turkey’s wish is to strengthen its role and influence in the South Caucasus. It realizes its dream of building an empire imitating the Sultanate and is entering a path that could shake the region” – he added.
On social media, Pashinyan reported that Armenia shot down four drones near the capital Yerevan on Thursday. The Armenian Prime Minister specified that four drones appeared in the Armenian airspace in the provinces of Kotajk and Gegharkunik, and the Armenian air defense forces destroyed them.

Erdogan, stay home and take care of the people of Turkey. Either join the leaders who are doing the right thing or resign and let someone who really knows how to lead.
