Samsung kills its Note series with Galaxy Note20 Ultra, no longer the King, just some random phone with an S-Pen

After last year’s Note10+ disaster, this year Samsung, just as we predicted, decided to hammer the final nail in the coffin of its Galaxy Note series. Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has just been released and its a complete and total miserable failure.

With Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Samsung might as well just say goodbye to its former high-end series. Why?

Well for starters, Note 20 Ultra has all of the same faults that Note 10+ had and which we wrote about two months ago, plus many other faults.

The Note series used to be the top of the line for Samsung, the best of the best. When you had a Note, you couldn’t say there’s another better phone out there because there wasn’t, especially not also from Samsung but this time Samsung has dethroned its Note with the previous S20 Ultra!!!!!!

Battery and Chipset

The Note series had a better and larger battery than the S series since like forever but nope, not this time around. S9+ for example had a 3500mAh battery while Note 9 had a 4000mAh battery. S10+ had a 4100mAh battery while Note 10+ had a 4300mAh battery but this time around, S20 Ultra has a 5000mAh battery while Note 20 Ultra has a….. 4500mAh battery!!!

So now the S series is the king….? Sure some kids and childish grownups would mumble “but muh Note 20 Ultra has a 10% faster chipset, it came with Snapdragon 865+”. Holy f-ing sheit! Are you like a 5 year old??? Did you actually bought a Note for gaming and sheit?? Notes were supposed to be business phones.

While we’re talking about the chipset though this minor upgrade is only for America while the rest of the world is on their crappy Exynos 990! Yup the S20 came with Exynos 990 and so is now the Note 20 which despite people hoping it will be launched with the Exynos 992, nope it didn’t. It was launched with the already weaker than Snapdragon 865, Exynos 990, but well at least Exynos in general seems to be a lot more stable while Snapdragon 801 for example did fail on mass on Note 4 and LG G3. There were even lawsuits about it…

Now back to the battery problem, you can’t possibly cheer like a mindless zombie for a little bit of more performance over a better battery. The battery is the most important thing in a phone. The CPU is already fast enough as it is. I bet you won’t find a single app or game that won’t run smoothly on 3 year old S8, let alone this year’s S20 CPU!

Are you being serious right now?? Hopefully though there is not a single person out there who would bring this up as an excuse. Why excuse a foreign company in the first place? Do you have shares at Samsung? Man to hell with them! Don’t excuse the inexcusable, this is a big blow for S20 Ultra to have a larger battery than Note 20 Ultra and its not even a tiny difference, no its huge, its 500mAh!!!!!!!!!!

Camera

The camera on the S20 Ultra has been subject to mixed feelings and reviews. Some praised it while some bashed it for its grainy pictures while using the maximum 100X digital zoom. Now guess what, Note 20 Ultra came out with a smaller zoom, only 50X.

They PROBABLY (we don’t know for sure) reduced it because some criticized the S20 Ultra’s 100x zoom as being too low quality. Well you know what? Nobody forced you to zoom to 100x. You could just stop at 20, 40 or 50X. Don’t like 100? Don’t use it but its nice to have it there… is it better now that they removed it from the Note 20 Ultra?????? Unfreaking believable!

No matter how much you didn’t like the zoom below of the S20 Ultra, it was really cool to have it VS not having it:

But WAIT! That’s not even all. The Note 20 Ultra is also missing 4th 3D depth camera, the 0.3 MP, TOF 3D, f/1.0 one. Note 20 Ultra only has a 3 camera setup while S20 Ultra has a 4 camera setup.

And that’s not even all, there’s even more! The S20 Ultra came out with a 40MP selfie camera while the Note 20 Ultra only has a puny 10MP selfie camera, just like that of last year’s Note 10+……. When I saw this, I couldn’t believe it…….. the S series having better specs than the Note series……………. it was a shock.

RAM memory

You thought that was all?? As if that wasn’t enough, S20 Ultra 5G was released in 3 versions:

128GB 12GB RAM, 256GB 12GB RAM, 512GB 16GB RAM

and so was Note 20 Ultra 5G:

128GB 12GB RAM, 256GB 12GB RAM, 512GB 12GB RAM

Notice any difference??

No?

Ok let’s move on to other problems then…

………

Just kidding!

An S phone having more RAM than a Note phone? Ok that does it… Samsung is such a retard at this point its not even worth continuing to write about it. We can just stop the article here…

And to make that even worse, this year’s launch price for the top Note 20 Ultra 5G is $1400 while the launch price for Note 10+ 5G was $1300. When the first Note was launched, it didn’t even come anywhere near $1000. We’re curious where will the Korean mofoz stop? When Note 28 reaches $4000 or what??? Is there an actual price cap?

Those Korean mofoz are raising the prices year by year while REMOVING features instead of adding new ones. This is simply just unbelievable. This is like a cheap Chinese scam company, at this point you should lobby your politicians to completely BAN the sale of all Samsung products in your country for bad practices and for basically scamming people.

It wasn’t enough what they did with the Note 10+ when compared to Note 9 but now this??? The Note series is officially dead! Don’t buy Note 20 Ultra or the cheaper Note 20 with its “glastic” back. LOL such a dumb childish name for glossy plastic back panel but you know what?

This is actually a good thing, in fact ALL phones should have a plastic back because it doesn’t break like glass. Its enough you have glass on your screen, you don’t need glass on your back as well. There’s really not 1 single benefit of having a glass back panel. Some say it looks better and “more premium” whatever the hell that means “more premium” why would glass be “premium”?? glass is just as cheap of a material as plastic is.

Remember the glasses you pour water into so you can drink? Remember how much they cost?? Ohh glass is sooo premium… had they been made out of crystal, sapphire, silver or gold or something, yeah now that would have been “premium” but this is just ordinary glass with a paint coat on it and another anti-shatter plastic/rubbery coat. That’s it.

For those of you who say it looks better than plastic. Have you guys seen the back panels of the Galaxy A70 series? They are as premium as you can get, maximum premium stuff and guess what, if you hit it or drop it, it doesn’t break!!

In fact you know what? Don’t buy any more Samsung products altogether, we’re calling for a complete and total boycott of the Samsung brand!!!!!!

Buy Nokia, Huawei, LG, Sony or any other phones. We can’t in good faith recommend the iPhone as we know they spy too much on people. Anything BUT Samsung (and iPhone) just to teach them a lesson. Show them that you are not their fools to mess with.

The Note phone is dead. Only stupid fanboys will support it at this point.

Please wait...
