Outbreak of 'Strange Virus' Nastier than Coronavirus in Nigeria that Kills in Just 48 Hours, 15 Dead Already

Nigeria has declared a national emergency over a “strange epidemic outbreak” that has already left 15 dead and 104 infected by this disease, which can end the life of a person in just 48 hours.

The Nigerian Senate declared an alert on January 29 for a “strange epidemic outbreak” in Oye-Obi, in the southern state of Bunue, which has already claimed the lives of 15 people and infected another 104, this Thursday Today News Africa .

For now, experts are unaware of what disease it is but we know for sure that this is not the new coronavirus. The condition, whose symptoms include headache, hot flashes, diarrhea, vomiting, loss of strength and bloated stomach – can end the life of a person in just 48 hours.

The Upper House of the African country has urged the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) to monitor the situation to try to prevent the spread of the disease .

He also requested that those infected be treated and called on the population to avoid contact with the infected as a preventive measure.
