A Finnish court has sentenced a migrant who has been convicted of child sex crimes in the past to a mere five years in prison for sexually assaulting another six victims, including a child.
The 27-year-old migrant, who claims to be from Afghanistan but who speaks Farsi and may actually be Iranian, sexually assaulted the six victims in the city of Tampere and the town of Yolöjärve between April and August of this year, Finnish broadcaster Yle reports.
The Pirkanmaa District Court found the migrant guilty of sexual abuse of a child, aggravated rape, rape, and three separate counts of sexual harassment. Despite the 27-year-old migrant having been previously convicted of committing sex crimes against a child earlier this year, the court sentenced the man to just five years in prison.
The hearing was closed to the media and most of the details about the case were withheld from the public, most likely because of the age of the child victim. The court also ordered the identities of the six victims to be kept secret for up to 60 years.
Earlier this year in January, Voice of Europe reported on an investigation which saw police looking into four separate cases of migrants committing rape and serious sexual abuse against children.

If prison in Finland is like prison in America, this child rapist may not live a full month. I was with the Department of Corrections for 12 years in California, so I do have some first hand knowledge.
I found that inmates hate people that destroy children. And the inmates do not care what religion, race, color of skin, where you are from, or anything else – you destroyed a child, now it is your turn!!!
