The nationalities of all criminal suspects will now be revealed by police in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Die Welt reports.

Since Chancellor Merkel instituted her policies allowing for mass immigration from the third world, the topic has because especially sensitive in Germany.

On Monday, the state Interior Ministry announced in Dusseldorf that police in the western German state of North Rhine-Westphalia would begin disclosing the nationalities of all criminal suspects in communications with the media when it’s ascertainable beyond any doubt.

The ministry also said that the communication policies of police are also being revised.

From state to state, policies on disclosing a suspect’s national origin vary. In a large number of states across Germany, the suspect’s nationality is only revealed when the authorities regard it to be important to the nature of the crime that was committed. For instance when it functions as a motivating factor.

Herbert Reul, North Rhine-Westphalia’s Interior Minister, stated that the new policy was a part of a broader move for increased transparency.

“We will state the nationalities of all suspects that we know for sure — naturally also those of German suspects,” Reul said. “I am convinced that this transparency is the best means against clumsy deception.”

Increasingly, German citizens have accused the government, police, and media of intentionally withholding the nationalities of criminal foreigners as a way to minimize the rising tide of criticism against Merkel’s pro-mass migration policy, which saw over 1 million migrants let into Germany in 2015 alone.

Since the height of the migrant crisis in 2015, Germany has seen several high profile violent crimes where migrants and/or ‘asylum seekers’ were directly involved.

One that comes directly to mind is the mass public sexual assault of women which occurred in Cologne on New Years Eve 2015. Despite the media initially trying to hide it, the perpetrators were later found to be mostly from North Africa.

Weeks ago, the high profile trial of a failed African asylum seeker charged with raping a nine-year-old girl began in a German court. Unfortunately, cases like this have become all too common in Germany thanks to Merkel’s reckless migration policies.
