Italian police forces have raided a migrant reception center and discovered at least six North African migrants using the center as a base to sell drugs to the community.

The raids, named ‘Operation Capolinea’, took place on Wednesday in Licata, a port city in the province of Agrigento.

According to a report from Il Giornale, during the raids police arrested six young men – all with North African backgrounds.

The investigation was first initiated when parents were disturbed by the number of drug dealers pushing their poison in front of their kids’ schools with impunity.

After some sharp police work, investigators were led to drug activity which was occurring at a bus terminal, later finding that a large portion of the drugs had been trafficked from the Sicilian capital of Palermo by bus.

Italian prosecutors contend that the migrants and the local drug dealer were making as much as 500,000 euros from their drug sales.

National populist interior Matteo Salvini lauded the police raid saying: “Thanks to law enforcement and investigators in the fight against drugs, crime, and the business of immigration in every city. The fun is over.”

This week’s police raid comes only a few weeks after Italian police in Rome raided gang of African drug dealers who were using a local church in the Torre Angela area as their base to deal heroin out of.

During that operation, five African migrants were arrested. Police investigators said that the gang tried to hide around a kilogram of heroin.

Salvini hasn’t been shy about the way he feels about migrant drug traffickers trying profit from selling poison to Italian communities. In April he said, “A Pakistani ‘asylum-seeker’ has been arrested, caught in Pesaro by the police with 180 doses of heroin! DISGUSTING! All-out war on death dealers! #zerotolerance, get these delinquents OUT of Italy!!!”
