A 16-year-old Czech girl was brutally raped in Terezin. The perpetrator was an African migrant, who has been released from prison in Dresden and then deported from Germany the very same morning the rape occurs.

The injured young victim had been then taken to the hospital. Due to the minor involved in this case, no more details have been released to the media.

The alleged rapist is an African man without any ID, who has been arrested by Czech police for violence and property crime. He is facing up to 10 years in jail.

Terezin is a small Czech town close to the German border, from which the distance to German city Dresden is approximately 92 km. Germany claims that because of the missing ID the African man could not be expelled to his home country, but they also said, that he has not been deported to the Czech Republic either. The Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic has no clue how the illegal African migrant did get to the Czech Republic.

The Czech Republic together with rest of the V4 group is refusing to take illegal migrants in and is among the 10 safest countries in the world. A crime such as this one does usually not happen in this country of Central Europe, while unfortunately, West Europe is facing similar repulsive cases.

This brutal rape and the circumstance of it shocked and divided the Czech public. One part of society is disturbed by the fact of illegal African migrant brutally raping a 16-year-old girl while the other part of society bothers that this fact has been published at all.
