Italy’s Foreign Minister Enzo Moavero Milanesi summoned French Ambassador to Italy Catherine Colonna after French President Emmanuel Macron called Italy “irresponsible” for refusing to accept migrants from the Aquarius vessel stranded in the Mediterranean, the ministry said in a statement.
“Following yesterday’s the statements of Paris over the Aquarius issue, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Enzo Moavero Milanesi summoned the ambassador of France to Italy to the foreign ministry this morning,” the Italian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
According to AFP news agency, citing a diplomatic source, the French ambassador will be received at 10:00 am (0800 GMT) at Farnesina, the seat of the Foreign Ministry in Rome.
“The statements concerning Aquarius from France are surprising,” the Italian Council stressed, adding that Rome won’t tolerate receiving “hypocritical lessons from countries that preferred to divert the head “on the migrant crisis.
On Tuesday, Macron accused Italy of “cynicism and irresponsibility” over Rome denying entry to the ship carrying more than 600 migrants, rescued in the Mediterranean sea by the German branch of the SOS Mediterranee NGO. Spain allowed the ship to dock in Valencia after Italy’s and Malta’s refusals.
Spokesman of Macron’s La République En Marche! party, Gabriel Attal later told Public Senat TV, that the Italian position makes him “vomit,” adding, that “It’s totally unacceptable to play petty politics with human lives.”
Italy’s new coalition government is taking a hardline policy on migration, as Europe is struggling to negotiate refugee quotas and a common European framework to share responsibility for migrant arrivals. Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini has said that Italy can not be Europe’s “refugee camp” while the neighboring countries close borders and defend its frontiers with weapons.
Since 2015, Europe has been experiencing its worst migration crisis in recent history, struggling to accommodate hundreds of thousands of refugees and migrants fleeing hostilities in the Middle Eastern and North African countries. According to the UN estimates, over 30,000 migrants and refugees arrived in Europe by sea since the beginning of 2018. Over 13,000 of them arrived in Italy, making it one of the countries most hit by the migrant crisis.

Sorry but nobody wants to defend their white Christian homelands. They have to work every day. There are mortgages and bills to be paid. After work it’s dinner, chores, resting. Weekends the children have practice. Vacation time is coming up.
The grocery stores are full. The belly’s are full. If non-whites and migrants move in – they can just sell the house and move if it gets too bad. There will always be some place to move with other white people.
Nobody has the will to fight back under these circumstances. As long as the economy is good, what do I care if some Paki or Sudanese is washing the dishes in the expensive cafe we are eating at tonight?
As far as speaking out .. If I lose my job, because of participation in this most noble cause or even a racist comment – I will lose my job, house, and car. Who will pay my bills? You?
Let me put it to everyone reading like this:
There are millions of white people (for now), 150 million in USA. 300 million in E.U. It would only take a mere 2-3 thousand to protest with force – violence to start a domino effect and get a response. And there is NOBODY willing to do that in USA, E.U. or any white country. NOBODY. And certainly not any normal white people picking their kids up from soccer practice. And add to the fact with social media – it has never been easier to organize. Look at the Arab Spring. All happened in days – all with social media.
This point bears repeating:
Out of a population of hundreds of millions of whites being slowly systematically invaded culturally destroyed and genocided – in a time when things can be organized in days with social media – there are not even a mere few thousand white people – in any of these white homelands – willing to protest with force. Their book is correct when it says “might is right”. Without force – it’s all just babble and talking points.
There are white people who strike out and “pop off”. But it’s a waste of life. They get 15 seconds of fame and life in prison or a death sentence.
