Majority craving strong leadership, view migrant invasion as an attack.
A new survey shows 7 out of 10 Italians think there are too many migrants living in their country.
43% think migrants are taking jobs from native Italians, according to the IPSOS poll, conducted in conjunction with the Jewish Contemporary Documentation Centre.
The majority of those surveyed said they viewed immigration as an attack and 57% thought Italy needed “a strong leader to defend the Italian people.”
