Former Democrat Representative out of Florida, Corrine Brown, was found guilty on 18 of 22 charges related to fraud, conspiracy, tax evasion, and obstruction this Thursday.

Brown is guilty of stealing tens-of-thousands of dollars from her charity “One Door for Education Foundation”, which is supposed to be for poor and impoverished children. Brown instead put the money into her personal accounts to finance her luxurious lifestyle.

She is notorious for hosting extravagant parties, going on expensive vacations, and shopping, as reported by Fox News.

The Daily Mail reported:

The verdict came after prosecutors outlined a pattern of fraud by Brown, 70, and her top aide that included using hundreds of thousands of dollars from the One Door for Education Foundation for lavish parties, trips and shopping excursions. She was convicted of 18 of the 22 charges against her, including lying on her taxes and on her congressional financial disclosure forms.

  1. Thieves enter politics to enrich themselves any way they can. Corinne Brown is one of them. She most certainly didn’t get herself elected to public office in order to help those who voted for her ( even though she likely made some throw-away promises while campaigning). No, old con Corinne knew that a political gig would make for a healthy bank account . . . as long as she could stay out of jail. She did pretty good for a while, but then got too greedy and careless and was busted.

The good times ain’t gonna be there no more for old hustler Corinne!
