On Monday a terrorist drove a large truck through the Christmas Market in Berlin killing 12 and injuring 50.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel visited the Berlin Christmas Market on Tuesday the day after an Islamist plowed over dozens of Germans killing 12 at the market.
The suspect in the attack was arrested by German officials after the attack. The man came to Germany as a “refugee” from Pakistan.
The suspect was released on Tuesday due to insufficient evidence.
The BBC reported:
The only suspect held after Monday’s deadly lorry attack on a Berlin Christmas market has been released, prosecutors say.
They say they do not have sufficient evidence to pursue the case against the man, who has been identified by media only as Pakistani national Naved B.
The man earlier denied any involvement. He was captured in a park after reportedly fleeing the scene.
The attack at the Breitscheidplatz market left 12 people dead and 49 hurt.
