A pre-school in Sweden has decided to stop referring to children as “him” or “her” in an effort to obtain equality between the sexes from childhood.
The Egalia preschool, in the Sodermalm district of Stockholm made the decision as a part of the national curriculum for Swedish preschools to stop children falling into gender stereotypes.
Staff at the school has tried to shed masculine and feminine references from their speech, including the pronouns him or her – “han” or “hon” in Swedish and instead, they have adopted the genderless “hen”.
“We use the word ‘Hen’ for example when a doctor, police, electrician or plumber or such is coming to the kindergarten,” the Daily Mail quoted Lotta Rajalin, the director of the preschool as saying.
“We don’t know if it’s a he or a she so we just say ‘Hen is coming around 2 p.m.’ Then the children can imagine both a man and a woman. This widens their view,” she said.
The option to implement the rules was underpinned by a theory that society gives boys an unfair edge
“Society expects girls to be girlie, nice and pretty and boys to be manly, rough and outgoing,” Jenny Johnsson, a 31-year-old teacher said.
“Egalia gives them a fantastic opportunity to be whoever they want to be,” she added.
Meanwhile, nearly all the children’s books deal with homosexual couples, single parents or adopted children. There are no ‘Snow White,’ ‘Cinderella’ or other fairy tales.
Rajalin also noted that Egalia placed a special emphasis on fostering an environment tolerant of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people.

Honestly? I think this is ridiculous. I’m all about equality between the sexes, but I don’t think we can ignore that we ARE in fact different. Better to celebrate the differences then to pretend that they don’t exist. Being “girly” is OK if that’s just who you are.
The research has already been done that no matter what, the genes dictate the gender. Little girls still prefer playing with dollies, and boys with trucks, in most cases, even when encouraged at an early age to do otherwise. Don’t sweat the small stuff. God is still in control. :roll:

There IS not equality between the sexes. There is not MEANT TO be nor should their be. I’m not talking about equality in terms of equal pay for equal work or the like…but men and women are NOT equal.
They both think differently, get into relationships for different reasons, communicate in TOTALLY different wants, have totally different emotional psyches, have different bodies, looks, strengths, weaknesses, can’t do the same things to the same degrees, like different clothes, focus on different things in terms of likes and dislikes and SO much more.
This crap is all part of the hermaphroditic BORG agenda trying to remove ALL differences between men and women and to create ONE race of Asexual beings both in mind and even in body. It’s all about hybridization where they want to have NO distinction between men and women… these people are SICK Satan worshipers and that is why they do his bidding with crap like this.. morons.
I don’t think the Muslim community is going to like this gender equaility scheme.This gender equality scheme will keep the Muslims segregated from Swedish people.
